New Years Eve Recap

Happy Thursday!!! Not sure about you guys, but it sort of felt nice to get all the decorations down and start the new year! Pretty pumped that it's a two day work week for me as well!

NYE was the perfect combination of good food and relaxation! It was a balmy 20 degrees in Boston, so our plans of staying in were exactly what we hoped it would be, cozy.

The menu was bruschetta, twice baked potatoes, filet oscar & apple crisps for dessert!
My attempt at chalkboard art…must get better (womp womp)

While the presentation is a little off - this was beyond delicious! I also realize the plate is about 2 times the size it needs to be!

Even though it was just the two of us, we still wanted to get fancy (at least for the dinner portion) and take some pictures!

Thankfully our camera has a self timer!

Promptly after dinner we changed into sweats and watched all the festivities on T.V.

Happy 2014!!

There are ice sculptures all over Boston that are done for NYE and stay up - well I guess until they melt! Since we both had the day off, we did as tourists do, and enjoyed the city!

Hope you all had a lovely start to the New Year!!
