Hair-Sparation

This girl (points finger at herself and shakes head in shame) needs a haircut like you wouldn't even believe...letting you in on a little secret - I have not gotten a haircut since May!! Since I've never colored my hair, it's very manageable and I don't have too many split ends. With all that being said - I'm in dire need of something to spice up my look, instead of just having it lie flatly on top of my head...

sometimes I feel like my hair is this long...

I do have dreams of doing something drastically different to my hair, I mean it will eventually grow back, but I'm always terrified that this will happen...

But I digress...One thing I know for sure - the hair will remain long - it just needs a little life put back into it!

This is the most current picture of my hair...

Here are some photos for inspiration and please send along any other favorites you may have!!

Have you ever tried a non permanent gloss in your hair? Am I the only one this weird about hair...i.e. wanting to do something drastic only to be concerned with hating it right after?!

The lovely Kristen at Treats & Travels has some side bar introductions on her blog today so if you have some time, stop over and say hello!!  She's a fellow New Englander and quite the riot!!

Hope you all are staying safe and warm!!

  3. Love the inspiration photos, I'm thinking about cutting mine when spring hits and would love to do some big. Not sure what it would be though!

  4. I am in the same boat! I did have one cut in October but I barely cut anything off at all...Mila Kunis has the most beautiful hair ever! I was going to wait until May to cut it, but mine is getting pretty ridiculous. I have been inspired lately by some pics of Lauren Conrad and Shanae Grimes. Their hair is still long, but with side bangs cut in. That is about the most adventurous thing I ever attempt haha. I always think of trying out an ombre look, but then I get nervous about it. Here are the pics. http://www.pinterest.com/pin/93520129736259718/

I think your hair would look super pretty with a gloss.

  6. I'm the exact same way - "no more than an inch!" But I'm scheduled for a cut and ombré next Tuesday...just jumping in head first! Eek!!!
Our hair is about the same length, so from one rapunsel to another, let me remind you, you have a LOT you can lose before you're considered "short haired".

  7. I always use non-permanent gloss on my hair! I love how shiny it makes it and it adds a very subtle change of color. I'm the same way when it comes to cutting my hair. My hair is in dire need of something but I'm too scared to chop it off! I have very thin and fine hair so I get so nervous about doing anything to it! I'd die for Mila Kunis's hair... *sigh*

  8. My hair is just as long as yours and I can't tell you the last time that I got it cut! I would love to do something different with my hair because I'm sick of always doing the same thing, but I'm not very brave when it comes to that!

  9. I really want to do something new with my hair besides coloring it, but I am so terrified and my sister even said why bother cutting it when you know you'll want long hair again as soon as it's gone!

  11. I'm so jealous of your hair! I have to get mine colored every 6 weeks because I have so many gray hairs! :( xoxo

  13. Get a trim & start with longer bangs to add some interest around your face ;D I'm the same way. I never want to cut my hair, but I'm also quite bored with it! & I always regret when I do anything too extreme! Can't wait to see what you decide to do. Looking forward to your future posts ;D

  14. I am so weird about my hair and I keep it really long too! The first two pics I actually have in my pinterest too. I went with an Eva Longoria pic the last time I had mine cut. Just a few layers to add body and movement while keeping a lot of length. I need mine cut too it's been since August. Oops.

  16. NEVER COLORED YOUR HAIR?

I don't remember the days when my hair wasn't NOT colored.

    Oiy.

  17. Your hair still looks great!! I wish mine could grow that long.. it gets as far as it is now and just stops. I have tried a non-permanent gloss a few times and DO IT!!! I did it the last two hair cuts leading up to my wedding and it was amazing!

  18. First of all, your hair is gorgeous. But I do love the long layers! That would look great on you! I have not tried a gloss before, but I want to. Let me know how it goes for you!

  19. You have GORGEOUS hair. There is so much you could do with it! I think you'd love a gloss. And long layers would be beautiful.
