Hairstyles to Master

Now that the weather is warming up and my head doesn't have to be constantly covered with a hat - I can start changing up my hairstyles!  Here are five looks I'm trying to master this year...and probably wont get close to mastering until next year!

Victoria Secret Curls
Those perfectly tousled waves never come out quite like this!! I found this video for VS All Access and hopefully I can learn all the tricks straight from their hairdresser!!

Ponytail Pouf with Curls
This is honestly one of the most perfect ponytails I've seen. I think my teasing at the crown would somehow not turn out this way! I can't find the source of this photo - it's found on my pinterest if you'd like to pin it!

Fishtail Braid
I love this look! To me it's perfect for a casual date night or shopping trip!! I found two YouTube tutorials  and I really hope to master this one soon!
or Lauren Conrad's Fish Tail

Sock Bun
Despite many people saying these are on their way out - I really thinking throwing you hair up into a perfect bun can transform your look!! Honestly, it might be that I have too much hair, but my arm gets seriously tired trying to get this look!
Hoping this tutorial will be the winner!

The Perfect At Home Blowout
Let's be honest I don't have an extra $40 a week to shell out for the perfect blowout - so mastering this is really in my (and my wallets) best interest! You know the feeling you get when you leave the salon with a fresh haircut - imagine having that feeling every few days from the comfort of your own home!! From the tutorials I've read - the right tools are necessary and perhaps even the Drybar VIP Pack will need to be purchased!

Do you have any hairstyles your hoping to master? Have you already mastering these and can help me on my quest for perfect hair!?

xo,
Biana

  2. Absolutley LOVE these hairstyles! I really need to learn how to curl my hair. I want that Victoria's secret/Kardashian look lol. I will check out that tutorial. I have one of those clip free curlers but I do not use it right... I always just make my hair look like a mess. Lol Thanks for the inspirations!

  3. I love the pulled back bun look plus it's like my go to hairstyle on day 3 of no hair washing ;-) That fishtail is so cute! I remember my mom use to do my hair like that when I was little and naturally it is coming back. You have the most gorgeous hair I'm sure you can master any of these! xoxoxo

  5. I've been trying to master the VS curls and the poofy ponytail forever. I've failed every time so if you figure it out, let me know! I do the sock bun whenever I don't feel like doing my hair but I think my sock is a little worn out... I should probably buy one of those sock bun things instead of using a real sock. I can do the fishtail braid (I learned from the Lauren Conrad video LOL) but my hair is SO thin it looks silly. I bet it would look amazing on you because your hair is so gorgeous! Good luck!

  8. I want to figure out the pony with curls! Whenever the pony happens my hair is pretty lackluster. Teach me if you can do it on your hair!

  9. My tip for you for VS hair is Velcro rollers! I always use Velcro rollers for a special night out or big occasion. First I curl my hair, then I wrap it in the roller to set for however long it needs until it's cool. Then I take it all down, and there you go! The curls are perfect and last all night.

  10. I love all of these!! Your hair is so gorgeous I think they will all look amazing on you!! I didn't read the VS tutorial but what works for me to get more of the touseled look is to use a large barrel curling iron. The sock bun and fish tail are such easy go tos! I haven't mastered the poof pony yet, but I think that's more bc it makes my forehead look bigger than it already is haha!

  13. That ponytail IS gorgeous! I think spring is time for me to let go of the everyday bun or braid and try out some new hair styles!

  14. These are such gorgeous hair styles, yet I couldn't replicate either of them. Every attempt I've ever made to style my hair turned out disastrous or simply fell apart in minutes. This is one craft I'll never be able to master.

  23. I love sock buns! Don't tell me they're out! I had a girl at work show me how to do a fish tail braid and I still can't do it! It's easy once you get the hang out it I think. I'd love to have a VS blowout too. Id really love to be a VS model!!

  36. Ooooh I'm totalyl with you girlfriend! I wish I could master some beautiful hairstyles! Lol :) I LOVE the VS wavy hair! So pretty! Have you ever tried using one of those bun things to make a perfect sock bun type style? I use those alot and your arms won't get sore because it literalyl takes two seconds! :)

  37. I always wear the VS tousled curl look and I swear the secret is the type of curling iron you use! I have the Sultra Bombshell curling wand and it's amazing! My hair is crazy thick and long and I can still curl my whole head in about 20 minutes, which is super fast for me. It takes an hour to straighten in.
