100th Post

Here I am 100 posts later and still amazed that people actually read what I write about!! I've had the opportunity to "meet" and get to know some really amazing women in this blogging community that I wouldn't have been able to otherwise!! I honestly can't imagine not blogging - I feel like it's something I've been doing forever - probably because I was reading blogs long before I started my own!

I thought it would be fun to highlight a few of the things I've learned in these past 6+ months of blogging!!

+ You get inspired by everything around you - walking past a window display can turn into a blog post idea
+ It's quite normal to take photos of your food before eating it and you'll stop at nothing to get a perfect blog photo
+ Your friends and family that don't blog actually read your posts and then tell you what they think about it
+ Coming up with fresh ideas is a lot harder than imagined - but at least you have a cute notebook to jot your ideas in
+ Social media is both your best friend and your worst enemy
+ It's a constant battle between finding perfect things to highlight on your blog and not spending all your money
+ HTML code is not as scary as is it sounds & you can do it on your own - totally kidding thank god for my husband
+ Blogging friends become IRL (in real life) friends and you text and talk just like with any other friendship
+ You learn so much from blogs - totally cleaned my disgusting microwave from a trick I picked up from a blogger
+ You branch out into a world that's interesting and exciting to you - hello becoming a contributor to a wedding blog
So, thank you all so much for commenting, reading and following along!! I love the banter that we have back and forth from talking about what our significant other's would say if we wore high gladiator sandals to sharing the latest and greatest arm workouts!! You guys are seriously the BEST!!

xo,
Biana

  4. Congrats Biana! I love checking out your blog daily! I feel the same exact way about the blogging community being so encouraging and inspiring! You can learn so much and It is such a good opportunity to meet awesome friends that have similar interests. It is great for me because I don't have lots of time to get out in real life with friends being a super busy mom of 3! It helps me feel more connected. Plus Marc does not have tons to contribute to design/ style related conversation haha! XOXO

  5. Happy 100th post! I agree with you on all of the things you've learned/noticed about blogging... especially the taking pictures of the food one. My boyfriend now knows that when we go out to eat, he can't dive into his food until after I've taken an acceptable picture :) Congratulations!
