Loving Lately | Beauty Edition

These are just a few products that have been on heavy rotation in my beauty routine and I wanted to share the details of each!

NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer

I love NARS cosmetics, but was new to their concealers. After I finished Erase Paste I was on the hunt for a new one – just to see if I was missing out! Ladies – this stuff is amazing!! You can use it as a concealer or as a highlighter! It’s totally worth the price tag and doesn’t cake up like some other brands – it’s very hydrating! It also helped me save face after we landed in London and I couldn’t have been more tired!! But you couldn’t tell in the photos!

Out the Door Dry Top Coat

I sang the praises of Seche Vite being the best fast drying top coat – but this one is way better! I picked mine up at Wallgreens and the biggest difference I’ve found between the two is that this doesn’t get clumpy like Seche Vite did. My nails are dry in one minute and with no chips for at least 3 days, which for regular people’s nails is probably 7 days! While it’s not a “no chip top coat” it does help better than other top coats I’ve used.

Voluminous Butterfly Mascara

I picked this up on a whim and I’m so happy I did!! It’s been one of the best drugstore mascara’s I’ve ever purchased and the little bristles at the tip of the brush really get into the corners of your eye so that no lash is missed. If I want extra drama I add on one more coat of Lancome Definicils.

Stila CC Cream

I mentioned back in June that I purchased the CC creamand I’m here to report back!! Let me start by explaining the difference between BB and CC creams – read the full article here, but the short of it is this:

BB: Beauty Balm and least amount of coverage and more like a tinted moisturizer

CC: Color (Complexion) Corrector gives your face a more even skin tone to start the make-up process.

I switched from using the Garnier BB Cream (used it for over 2 years) to CC cream’s for a more even application to my makeup. I love the Stila cream!! When you squeeze it out of the bottle it comes out blue, but then once rubbed in matches to your face exactly. I really love this product and for reference I purchased the “Light 02”

Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush

This blush boasts up to 12 hours of wear and it really does last that long!! I purchased the “warm golden apricot” color and it has just a hint of shimmer to it. I’ve been using it for the past 3 months and love how pigmented the color is, I have yet to make a dent in the blush at all.  I’m actually planning on buying “strawberry red” for another color option.

Jordana Easy Liner

I kind of saved the best for last! This eyeliner is $1.39!!! You read that correctly! This has been my go-to liner for about 3 years now and every time I try another one out, I just don’t like it nearly as much as this Jordana brand!! I basically have it in every single color they make and Eggplant is my second favorite! You can buy these at your local Wallgreen’s and one of the best features is that it’s retractable – so no sharpener needed!

So there you have just a few beauty products I’m loving!! Have you found any gems lately?

I haven't tried any Nars products but it sounds like I need to give this concealer a try! And I used the Out The Door stuff for awhile but mine eventually got really thick and I had to throw it out. 🙁 I'm going to have to try that mascara too. I'm always looking for a good mascara. I feel like my lashes are getting shorter and thinner the older I get. Not cool.

I was just looking at the tarte blushes this weekend and didn't get one because I was unsure- I will have to go back now!! Love that concealer, tho I am using a smash box one right now that's really awesome too. I was using erase paste also, but one day I just decided it was too thick and goopy for me lol

Such great picks and I'm totally picking up that concealer. I pretty much love all things Nars, but for some reason I tend to just stick to their color products. I'm been feeling a little meh about my current concealer so this is perfect timing. Thanks! xoxo

I have a few new finds coming next Wed on our monthly faves link up! I LOVE the Tarte blushes, Out the Door top coat and the Butterfly mascara too. I agree, I have been through a couple bottles of the Out the Door and decided to try the Seche one recently, I like the Out the Door better as well. I swear no matter what polish, base coat or top coat used- 3 days is the max before a chip happens. The CND ones I bought recently are the ONLY ones that truly last. If they were quick drying, they'd be absolute perfection 😉 Ok, I'm almost out of my MAC concealer, which I absolutely love, but I've heard nothing but good about the NARS one too! I may have to try it out this time just for fun!

I have been wanting to try that blush. I love tarte makeup. They have the most gorgeous colors. Love that their products are natural also. Another girl recommended that mascara to me once, but it was so bad for me. Maybe I got a bad one! I just ordered Tarte's lights camera splashes. I'll let you know how I like it. I love their non waterproof version. I just ordered a makeupforever eyeliner. That brand you posted is an awesome deal, but my fair skin and dark hair can really only pull off a khaki or taupe shade of liner which a lot of brands surprisingly do not offer. I have to agree with the other girls you do post great beauty find. I want that nail topcoat. XO

I LOVE that mascara,I raved about it in my favorites a few weeks ago and I seriously love it. I was just wondering the difference between BB and CC cream. I confess I didn't know what BB cream was for either. I like the sound of this CC cream so I think I'm going to try it. Do you know of any drugstore options that I could try for this first?

I must try that Nars!! I have never tried anything Nars (oops!), but that sounds amazing! Also, I totally bought the Seche Vite after you talked about it and I love it! If this is better, count me in!

I ran out of Erase Paste awhile ago and replaced it with some drugstore brand. Really need to find a new concealer and I love anything Nars! Does it crease up under your eyes though? That's the only place I really need it (esp in the upcoming weeks!)

So glad to finally know the difference in BB cream and CC cream. I stood in Ulta for at least 10 minutes the other day trying to figure it out! Can't wait to check out that eye liner!!!

That CC cream sounds so nice! The L'Oreal BB cream I got a few weeks ago ended up breaking me out- so I'm still stuck without a nice lighter base for summer. I've heard good things about Jordana products but have never tried any! That sounds like an awesome eyeliner and you really can't beat that price!

Tarte everything is amazing, that's gotta be my favorite high-end brand — those blushes are incredible. Thanks for mentioning the Nars concealer; I need a new one and have been DYING to try this one for ages!

Love the Tarte blushes, and that Jordana eyeliner!! Must try the eggplant color! And I've heard nothing but great things about the Nars concealer – I think you've sold me! Will pick up once my MAC pro longwear runs out! xoxo
