Wino Wednesday

Kids and Cabernet
Happy Wednesday all!! I'm so excited to be co-hosting the link up today with my two favorite Amanda's!!! I have to admit I'm not a wine aficionado by any means, but I know what I like and don't like!! My favorite wine happens to be a Riesling that I've shared a few times here on the blog! Their motto is "How America Unwinds" and I have to say I agree!!
So now that we've got my favorite wine out of the way, I wanted to share what I think pairs nicely with wine and I'm not talking about a cheese plate!!! It's everything I want to see on my bar cart along with the wine!!

What's on your bar cart?

The first question is how is the wine going to make it from point A to point B and that's easy, in a super cute tote like this one from Kate Spade!! It can also double as a great hostess gift when you're headed to someone's house!!

I've decided I'm a stemless wine glass fan - for some reason I always mess up the stems on my wine glasses so this ensures that nothing gets broken!! I really love the Dot Set from Kate Spade. If you do go the route of having glasses with stems these wine tags are also a fun detail!
I'm literally obsessed with these wine openers!! Not having to worry about the foil or cork makes entertaining that much easier, and also I'm pretty much the worst at opening wine bottle on my own (unless they are a screw top, which Relax happens to be), but this would make the process so much easier!

I really like festive coasters, especially when they fit the theme for a party and how perfect is this Snowflake Coaster set of 12?
I'm actually so excited I found this product because a lot of the time I don't have time to chill my white wine and these Corkcicles do the work of the freezer while the wine is sitting out waiting to be served!! It comes in a lot of fun colors too!!
What's a party without a little game playing? I've heard such great things about Cards Against Humanity and I'm sure I will be playing this soon...if not you are more than welcome to come over and we can all play it together!! Even though I said forget the cheese plates, we really can't because cheese and wine go together like, well wine and cheese!!! I really love the ones that you can write out the what type of cheese it is to the side!

What's your favorite wine accessory?

Make sure you stop by Amanda & Amanda's blogs to see what their sharing today!!

  9. WINO IN THE HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUSE! I love me some wine, have done many tours so I have some knowledge, but like you I just know what I like, haha. Those coasters and glasses are awesome, so pretty!

I've never played cards against humanity, either.

  10. Not a huge wine fan. I prefer craft beers, ciders or fun cocktails instead. But I can appreciate those fun coasters, cheese, cheese boards that you can write on and games!!!

  11. I had the Relax Riesling this past summer and really enjoyed it. I'm a huge fan of stemless glasses. I like that I can usually balance the glass on the couch next to me haha But actually my dog's tail has taken down way too many wine glasses for me to use anything else. I love that Kate Spade dot set. And Cards Against Humanity is always a good idea...always!

  15. Wine and wine accessories are the best hostess/holiday gifts. I LOVE my electric wine opener! It's probably one of the best things I got on my wedding registry (along with our wine fridge). Makes opening wine SO MUCH EASIER!!! :) Love those Kate Spade stemless glasses, too!

  16. Would you believe me if I told you I've never even tasted wine? It's true! But goodness... I love me some dishware from Kate Spade! I love all things Kate Spade, ha!

  28. Love this post! I usually opt for the white whine my hubby brings home and sticks on the wine rack. I don't know the name of it, but it has the shadow of a naked lady on it. But, I'll definitely try yours! I love your Kate Spade picks. As a fellow NYer, I'm sort of partial to all things Kate Spade. :)

P.S. I always wanted a bar cart. When I get a house, that's one of the first investments I'll make! Until now, it's my wine rack that sits nestled in the corner of my dining room. haha

  57. I'm in love with everything here! I desperately need a new wine opener and it might just be time to upgrade myself to that fancy one! As much as I love sweets you would think I would like white wine but I just can't do it.

  59. A corksicle! I love that! I like my room a little less than refrigerated and a little cooler than refrigerated. This seems like it would be perfect. I might be a little ghetto because I just carry my wine as is - but it usually makes people really happy to see me. And opening wine is usually a bit of a task. #firstworldproblems

  60. Love all your picks! I might have to get that wine tote for myself it's so cute! I am also a fan of stemless, but I have a pretty extensive collection of stem glasses too! Lol! I guess you can never have too many!

  62. I'm a fan of stemless glasses too. Love the dot ones! I have the dot vase/cake plate/bowl so these would go nicely. And I always make sure to have Relax Riesling on hand when my mom is around- she loves it. :)

  70. This was such a fun post to read! I saw the corksicle somewhere a few weeks ago and thought it was such a good idea! I don't know how many times we haven't been able to fit a bottle to be chilled in our fridge after we've opened it!
