Pinned it | DIYs to try

I have mostly a love relationship with Pinterest because the ideas that people have in this world are amazing and I love having a place where I can keep them all organized!! The only time I seem to loathe pinterest is when clicking on a pin and it leads to nowhere…that’s when Google Image Search comes into play, but that’s another post (or if you can’t wait I can let you know in an email)! I have a few boards on Pinterest, but one specifically for DIYs, some I’ve tried and some I’m looking forward to trying!! Fun round-up below!

Four DIYs that I think would be really easy to recreate – especially the faux marble console!

I was absolutely amazed that the microwave cleaning trick worked and not only that but it was amazingly clean. Below is not my microwave, but pretty close to how it looked! The lemon trick was another one that blew me away!

You might also remember that we tackled a big DIY and created our own bar cart using this IKEA hack

The problem I have is that I see the vision for what I want to create, but can’t always bring it into the real world, thank god for Pinterest right!? Anything that involves glitter, I’m all over it!

I did a few DIY projects for my wedding and the one that I was most proud of was the custom “now entering” signs we created for each table! I also didn’t want to throw away all the cards we received for the wedding and from my bridal shower so I found a great DIY to keep them neatly in place!

Wedding DIY

Are you a fan of DIYs you’ve found on Pinterest? Were any a complete disaster?!

I spray painted a lamp in my office and it turned out beautifully with the help of Pinterest. I also get the BEST cleaning tips from Pinterest. I found one that cleans rings that is my absolute favorite! Great roundup of pins!

I'm with you–Pinterest is the best and the worst! The faux marble console….umm, I'm gonna need to read that because that one looks legit like marble! Ive been trying my hand at more and more DIY projects since buying our house, but some of them I'm just nervous to try. It helps having a DIY partner in crime haha

I love DIYs and especially getting inspired by Pinterest! I love the bokeh background using the computer I'm so going to have to try that!! The glitter candle thing I've been wanting to try on an old prom glass with writing on it to cover it up and the mason jars with paint and glitter I just haven't made the time.

Love all of these! If you do that marbling you must tell me how it went and if it was easy or not. It's so cute! I did the glitter mason jars but silly me did the glitter on the OUTSIDE instead of the inside. Oops. But the good part is none of the glitter has come off and I don't end up with glitter all over everything LOL!

I have SO many DIY projects pinned, but I think I've only done like three of them, lol! I also put all my wedding cards together like the one that you showed here – such an easy and cute way to keep them all together! I kind of love that dry erase To Do list with the paint chips – that may have to happen for my new office.

I love all the DIY stuff as well, I was on it almost all day searching for DIY projects for my upcoming Stock the Bar Party and found like 3 DIY decorations I have already went out and bought the goods for!
