Weekend Happenings

This weekend we headed out of the city and off to visit Gary’s family. It was one of those weekends that I didn’t take a lot of photos and really just enjoyed being away from everything!

//We got drinks with friends and saw a few puppies and even a baby in the bar…when in Rome!

//Used a snow blower for the first time ever

//Also shoveled snow for the first time, feeling it today and thinking city life is the way to go!

//Watched the Oscars and even tried my best to choose the winners

Having a laid back weekend means lots of Friends binge watching on Netflix and some online shopping!!

I have been itching for some leopard flats and tried them on when I was at DSW…they didn’t have my size, but I knew that they would fit perfectly and would be really comfy because they are Dr. Scholl’s, which is what they’re known for!

I’m also slightly obsessed with suede shoes at the moment! I found these two at H&M and I’m leaning towards the pink ones, but wanted to see what you all thought! They come in the usual colors like khaki and black, but I want something with a little more pop!

Now let’s talk Oscar fashion!!

Chrissy Tiegan would have been my favorite of the night had Jennifer Lopez not showed up, but Chrissy looked gorgeous and I could not love that pale blue color more!! Jennifer Aniston = pure perfection and Jamie Chung…who would have thought she got her start on the Real World!! I absolutely love her dress!

I have to say what I love most about the Oscars is the drama of the dresses!! Reese Witherspoon, Rita Ora and Rosamund Pike looked amazing!!! I did think that Reese looked stunning, but a little safe even if she did wear white.

I could not even get over Jennifer Hudson in pale yellow and then Jenna Dewan showed up…seriously!!

I’m utterly obsessed with Jennifer Lopez’s dress from last night!! She looked youthful, gorgeous and absolutely flawless!!

Did you watch the Oscars? Who was your best dressed?

Hope you all have a wonderful start to your week!!

What a nice, relaxing weekend! The baby in a bar thing is a bit weird but ok then. Love those leopard flats and both of those heels. Since my favorite color is blue I'm a bit partial to the blue ones…. πŸ™‚ Love the red carpet for the Oscars. I saw a series of pictures of JLo getting into a car to go to the Oscars and man was it process! Happy Monday love!

I love the suede shoes. I have a pink pair that I actually never wear. The pink is kind of too bright.(my pair) I like the pink you picked though. The blue is soo pretty too. Clearly I can not make decisions lol. Have a fab week! xoxo

Your first time shoveling! Oh I am jealous right now. Shoveling now is not my favorite activity. I really loved Emma Stone's Elie Saab dress. The color could have been better in my opinion, but I mean, long sleeves with an open back. I'd wear that thing everywhere.

I watched the Oscars, but only made it until 11:00. My biggest gripe with these awards shows is them being on a Sunday night and starting so late. It's a "school night" people! πŸ˜›

Jennifer Aniston will always be my fav, and she looked gorgeous but she needs to step it up and stop playing it so safe with her hair! Do something different gurlie!

Shoveling is the worse. I have to shovel my balcony so that when the snow melts it doesn't leak into my condo. It's a pain in the butt! It is better than getting water in the house. I use to love having a balcony now I hate it! hahaha. Jennifer Lopez looked amazing!! I thought Reese Witherspoon looked amazing as well. Jenna Dewan is beautiful and so isn't that dress. As much as I love blogging and taking photos–sometimes I know its just a great weekend when I don't even have time to think about capturing everything! Its all about being in the moment and enjoying πŸ™‚ Glad you had a great one!

Were your Oscar predictions right? I didn't even bother predicting this year because I didn't see many of the movies. But I loved the fashion, specifcally JLo, Rosamund Pike and Zoe Saldana!

Love all your Oscar picks! JLo seriously does no wrong and has the most amazing body. I really loved Anna Kendrick too, she looked very classy. Hope you had a nice weekend! Nice job on the snow blowing!

Love your weekend recap! I have never shoveled before, but oddly enough have always wanted to try it haha! Also love the colored pumps. We got a bunch of them in the Teen Vogue office recently and they look great and such high quality in person. Also love your Oscar picks, some of those were my favorite as well. Chrissy was gorgeous and I was blown away, but I totally agree, Jennifer Lopez stole the show with that gorgeous gown!!

All of my favorites were on your list too, go figure! We like the same thing πŸ™‚ I'm having a really hard time deciding between the blue and the pink pumps buuuut I think I would go pink. They are both gorgeous but the pink just scream spring and we could all use a little more of that in our lives right now!

J Lo looked flawless. Also Zoe Saldana. Chrissy is third for me!

Hi Biana! Today was my first time linking up, thank you for hosting! Have loved reading and browsing through your pics/posts. Jealous of all your snow – we've had a measly 2-3 inches here in NC.

Don't you love "unplugged" weekends? Glad you had a nice trip!

Why was there a dog in a bar?? Or a baby?! I'm pretty sure if I had to shovel my driveway, I'd just never leave! I completely missed the Oscars but those are some gorgeous dresses!
