Weekend Snaps + A Giveaway

Happy Monday lovelies!! So the weekend was definitely a quick one, could have had something to do with the two hour nap I had on Saturday, but that's what snowy weekends are for, right?!!  You would think Mother Nature has proved her point, but alas she's decided to dump a few more feet of snow here in New England, luckily it didn't stop us from having a really great weekend!!
After a pretty busy week, I was in the mood for a cozy night in and watching a romantic comedy on Friday night, so we ended up renting Love, Rosie. It was super cute and had something for both of us.
Saturday morning my friend {and first client} Stephanie and I went to a vendor appointment and then obviously worked up an appetite! Besito recently opened in Chestnut Hill and I couldn't wait to try it out!! It's super authentic and the carne asada tacos were delicious!
That night Gary and I made our way to the Liberty Hotel to celebrate my good friend Jackie's 30th birthday!! If you have the chance to visit Boston, you must make a stop or stay at the Liberty Hotel. At one time it was the Charles Street Jail and it's one of the most popular spots in Boston!! The restaurants and bar/club all have "jailhouse" themes including where we ended the night - Alibi!
We had an incredible dinner at Scampo - top 5 meals of my life for sure!! The lobster risotto was out of this world!
Jackie provided all the ladies with the cutest Kate Spade straws and coasters for us to all take home at the end of the night!
I've honestly been out more in the first two months of this year than all of last year, which I'm happy to keep going!!
All the girls!
I had the best time with some of the sweetest people I know!!
I've been on a mission to find some new bedding for our bedroom and I finally found the perfect set at Marshall's on Sunday. It actually brightens the entire room and makes it feel bigger! Also found one of my favorite perfumes that was on my "from me to me" gift guide for Valentine's Day!
I tackled my closet Sunday afternoon and was able to get a decent amount of clothes separated into keep, donate and sell! The real question is whether or not I made a dent...the short answer is no!
Did you watch the Grammy's? For the most part everyone looked really good, but can we take a moment to talk about Madonna and her performance?! She is 56 years...let that soak in for a moment - she is seriously timeless!!

And to start this Monday off on the right foot, I'm also participating in a Valentine's Day loop giveaway on Instagram.
Iit's running until Feb. 11th so if you're interested in having a chance to win check it out here

Hope you all have a wonderful start to your week and hope you link up below to share your weekends with me and Meghan!!

  23. Ok is Boston usually this bad in the winter? I know it's New England, you get a decent amount of snow, but I feel like it's just been nonstop this year. Every time I check the weather they're talking about how much snow Boston is getting. It sounds like you had such a fun and eventful weekend! And how sweet of your friend to give away little favors for her party.

  24. Liberty Hotel looks like so much fun! I love me some D&G Light Blue, but it does not love me. The scent gives me migraines, which is pretty much the best/worst thing ever to have set them off. Boo for more snow- it's getting ridiculous up there!! -Dorrie @ Bear Den Plantation

  27. Looks like a fabulous weekend in spite of the snow!! I've never even heard of that movie, but I checked it out and it looks like something I would like. Ever since we got rid of cable, I'm so out of the loop with movies! Love your new bedding. That is something that's high on my list right now. Ours is so embarrassing, but at least it's the same colour as my dog, so it doesn't show her hair!

    ReplyDelete
  28. I love that bedding! I picked up a comforter a few months back at Target but I'm not in love with it. I am a huge fan of the Ralph Lauren sheets I bought separately to match the comforter, I've always head people say good sheets are worth the investment and now I'm a believer!
