I first want to thank you all for all the birthday love!! I can't even begin to describe how amazing it is to have so many wonderful friends in bloggy land!! Thank you again for taking time out of your day to wish me a happy birthday!!
Before I get into today's post: You'll notice the "Boston Favorites" tab has been added to the menu bar so feel free to poke around and let me know if you have any questions!!
This past weekend I headed to Bella Sante, one of my favorite salon's in Boston to get a much needed manicure. I booked my appointment through PrettyQuick, a.k.a my new best friend!
PrettyQuick is a beauty app, kind of like Uber for beauty! It's a free service that allows you to book any type of beauty appointment and instead of paying at the salon or spa you pay with the card on file. Gratuity can also be included if the salon accepts them via card!
The concept behind PrettyQuick is exactly as the name suggests, not having to wait to book an appointment when you want it! If you're in dire need of a blowout before a date night or just need to get a quick manicure at lunch, you launch the app and find a salon that's near you and already vetted as being one of the best in the area.
I used the actual website ahead of time to book my appointment, but after downloading the app I realized how much more convenient it was to have beauty literally at my fingertips! Just like with Open Table you can earn points towards free manicures, which let's be honest I'm super excited about!! Another selling point for me is that they have salons in all price ranges, so you can go to the same salons you would normally go to and just book through the app to get points!
PrettyQuick is currently available for salons and spas in Chicago, Boston, D.C., Miami, Dallas & San Francisco with salons and cities being added all the time!
If you are in one of the cities where PrettyQuick is offered you can click here for a $15 credit towards your first appointment!!
If salons in your area were involved with a beauty app like Prettyquick, would you use it? Are you a drop in for appointments kind of person or do you like to plan it out?
I'm also over at Shift Your Style's blog today sharing my thoughts on the color of the year, Marsala! It's been a few months and I want to know what you really think about it!!
In exchange for my honest review of the PrettyQuick App, I was given credit towards a service. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
