One Month at a Time | April Goals

Well that was quick, March I mean!! On top of the to-do lists I make for myself daily, having these monthly lists is just an extra little to keep myself on track, for what is exactly I don’t know, but it does help me feel like I’m accomplishing things each month!!

Before April, came March and here’s how I did:

1// Finalize all Puerto Rico plans: PASS on this since we just got back from Puerto Rico!

2//Buy a new camera: FAIL, well not really fail because I wasn’t planning on buying it in March, just wanting to narrow down my options. But after everyone posted their suggestions, I still haven’t been able to narrow it down!

3// Create a Boston Favorites Tab: PASS! You can see it at the top of my any page!

4// Get to bed earlier & hit the gym in the morning: PASS. I don’t think I went to bed any earlier but I made it to the gym in the morning 6 times in March so on average twice a week and the rest of the week I would go after work! Definitely going to continue with this since it’s getting warmer.

5// Visit the MFA: PASS – you can check out what we saw here

~April Goals~

1// Start running outside again (2x/week): I’m not training for anything, but having been cooped up inside for far too long with my workouts, running outside is just a must!

2// Start the squat challenge: I actually started this on April 1st and it will be my 2nd time doing this challenge! I really liked it last year and definitely saw a difference!

via

3//I’ve been trying to find a nice way to merge our “office space” and living space with the three shelving units we have. This month it’s going to happen…hopefully!

4//Finalize the details of the coming out event for Bespoke Boston Weddings! For all my Boston friends, the event is being held on May 7th at Fabulous Frocks and if you’re interested in a first look at Spring’s wedding trends I’d love to see you there!!

You’ll also notice a new face on my side bar under “lovelies”…I’d like to introduce you to Jill from Capri + Co. Jill is such a fun and sweet mama to her gorgeous little girl and also has a new bundle on the way!! Hope you’ll hop on over to show her some love – she’s got some amazing DIYs and I’m pretty much obsessed with all her home decor!!

I’m dabbling with “Sponsorship’s” and if it’s something you’d like to chat about feel free to reach out!!

What’s on your list this month? Any tips to shelf styling?

xo,

I like your running outside goal! Sometimes it's just nice to be outside after being inside all winter … regardless of whether or not you're training for something. Enjoy the running!

March did go by sooo quickly! Congratulations on accomplishing most of your goals for the month! I'm so happy it's finally (eventually) going to warm up. I always attempt those 30 day challenges but can never get in the habit to actually do them so I never finish- maybe I should try again. Your event sounds like it's going to be so amazing, wish I was in Boston so I could come!

Girl, you kicked butt in March! Way to go! And I totally get how you feel about running outside! It can be so peaceful and such a great way to get some vitamin D 🙂 I can't wait until this half training is over and I can go out and enjoy my runs and not feel like I'm being forced!

Definitely checking out your Boston favs! I haven't been to Boston in years, and we're excited for our day trip when we're up in CT in July. Still trying to narrow down if we'll come into the city on Thursday, or on Saturday when we can catch a game at Fenway. Decisions decisions…

I definitely noticed a difference. I think I'm going to try to start hitting the gym in the morning too… wish me luck!

March was a great month for you – you did awesome! I miss being able to wake up and hit the gym. It always felt so great to get it out of the way! And I feel you on getting out to run! I can run outside all year in Dallas, but when I was in Minneapolis and it finally warmed up it was an "I'm FREE!!!' moment to get outside, lol! Good luck on your April goals!

I'm also in the market for a new camera! We bought our DSLR with the intention to use it for everything, but it's honestly turned into my blogging camera because we just don't like lugging it around everywhere – we tried it in Vegas and ended up ditching it in the hotel room to just use our phones instead. I'm looking at one from Samsung that basically is a DSLR but more compact. You have so many great goals this month – I wish I would've known about the squat challenge. My thighs need all the help that they can get!

Congrats on striking March goals off the list! I love doing random challenges like a squat challenge or the monthly blogilates challenges, I think I'll have to do this squat one starting today. I'm sure you'll have beautifully styled shelves! My go to is not too much clutter or nick knacks but that's just because I think it can become a floating "junk drawer" if you're not careful.
