Product Empties | Vlog

Happy Tuesday everyone!! I love watching “empties” videos on YouTube almost more than tutorials because you get to really know if the product works and what the person actually thinks of their purchase! I filmed a little video for you, but if that’s not your thing I also went ahead and reviewed all the products below as well – I did go into more detailin the video

A few things to note about the video

1. I like to say the phrase “Great Buy” / “Product” a lot – sorry in advance

2. I’m not a vlogger by any means, but sometimes these videos are easier to do than type out in a post – even though I’m doing that anyway

3. I wasn’t able to do any fancy intros or graphics, but I still hope you like it!!

4. I’m still working on getting the lighting just right!

If you weren’t able to watch the video here’s the cliff notes version of all the products!

John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Shampoo & Conditioner

I’m a huge fan of John Frieda’s brilliant brunette line. I think it does a great job of exactly what it advertises which is bringing out your natural beautiful hair color. This is a definite repurchase for me!

Pantene Ultimate 10 BB Shampoo & Conditioner

What I love most about all Pantene shampoos and conditioners is how good they smell!! This was no exception I loved the smell, but I don’t think it necessarily cleaned my hair exceptionally well. I’ll probably repurchase because I did see a slight difference in the amount of split ends I had, which was a great benefit.

Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Moroccan Sleek Oil Treatment

I’ve mentioned this product once before on the blog and it’s seriously my absolute favorite Moroccan oil out there. The price point is amazing & a little goes a long way so it lasts for a long time. I’ve already repurchased this product and will until they decide to discontinue it – which I hope never happens!

St. Ives Even & Bright Scrub

Another favorite and holy grail item of mine that I’ve mentioned on the blog before is the Pink Lemon & Mandarin Orange Scrub by St. Ives. I’ve been using St. Ives scrubs for at least a decade and in my opinion it’s one of the best if not the best drug store scrub out there! Another item that has been repurchased and will be for years to come!

Garnier Ultra Lift Sleeping Cream

I’m on a roll with items that I’ve previously mentioned on the blogbefore – don’t miss out on this seriously amazing and luxurious night cream!! I bought this product in February and just ran out last month so you can see how long it lasted and I was very generous with my application! I saw very tiny improvement in my fine lines, but this is more about having my skin feel fresher when I woke up, which it did!

Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue

If you click on the link above you’ll notice it’s not an affiliate link and that’s because I DID NOT like the product at all! I felt like the coverage was sub par at best and really did nothing for my complexion. It was so weightless that it provided the most minimal amount of coverage, so I was always mixing my BB cream in. I won’t purchase this product again!

Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer

I can’t rave enough about this bronzer! The color is perfect and not too dark and smells like chocolate. Not much to not like there! It took a very long time to get through and I had a sample size! I’ll 100% be repurchasing again!

Benefit Bella Bamba

Sadly Benefit discontinued this color, but I actually really loved it and it took me FOREVER to get through it. I didn’t mention in it my blushes post last week because it was no longer available, but they still have two great blushes – Coralista & Dallas Box o’Powder blush that provide very similar coverage. There is a fun fact in the video at 6:49!

Zara Perfume

Can I be more obsessed with Zara’s perfume selection – absolutely NOT!! Sadly  it’s not sold online, but in stores you have a great selection and the one I used up first is Zara Black and it’s floral without being over powering! I have four other’s I’m working my way through – it will be very hard for me to buy perfume for over $15 now since these are so delicious and amazingly priced!!

e.l.f. Poreless Face Primer

I didn’t have the best track record with e.l.f. products, but this face primer restored my faith in the brand! I used it up in about a month and will be repurchasing because the price is perfect! It’s incredibly smooth when it’s rubbed into your face, but my only gripe is that because the bottle is opaque (watch the video at 8:15 to see me struggle with finding this word) you don’t know how much you have left so it was gone before I knew it!

YSL Touche Eclat Blur Primer

I’m utterly obsessed with this primer. Yes it’s expensive, but when you see how it makes your makeup look and how your face feels you understand the price! I’ll repurchase this and use it for special occasions, that way it lasts for a long time! My tip is to go into your local Sephora and ask for a sample – yes they do this and try it out so you can see what I’m talking about!

Have you tried any of these products? What’s a holy grail makeup item you continuously repurchase?

I feel so behind, I haven't tried any of these! I literally made notes in my phone though so hopefully I can soon! I love a good primer and I'm glad you said the BB shampoo didn't work because I probably would've tried it. Love these posts!

The video didn't load for me, so I didn't get to see your pretty face grace my computer screen this morning, but Ill try again later this afternoon πŸ™‚
I like switching between Pantene and Moroccan hair shampoo/conditioner (the one that comes in the round blue bottle) within the week. I feel like switching keeps my hair "guessing" and has been giving me more volume lately. I need to check out that elf primer!

Darn, I wanted to see your lovely face but video said it was private! But your cliff notes reviews were great. I am super excited to go into Zara and try all the scents! Who can beat the price of e.l.f. products and well, you know how I feel about the sleek and shine G & F products. LOVE them and the smell Happy Tuesday miss gorgeous!!

oh was this ever fun!!! You are just as adorable and friendly as your blog leads me to believe you are! I ADORE all of the John Frieda products and use them regularly.
you are a great one to do hair product reviews because you have gorgeous hair. You were honest about Pantene too, I don't love them.
Don't apologize about this video, I would much rather watch a video about multiple products rather than read about them all….but I LOVE how you included a list of all of the products that you are featuring in the video with descriptions.
HELP!!!!! Where do you buy the Zara perfumes? I have never heard of their perfume. I wear Blue by Ralph Lauren and yes it is at least $60….please lead me to Zara!
Oh wait, I think you might have linked to it above….going to check that out.
