Gift Guide | For The Hard to Buy Person

By now you’ve probably got a huge chunk of your shopping for the holidays done, but I’m willing to bet there are a few people on your list that are just not quite the easiest to buy for. Rather than rely on gift cards that can be a little impersonal, thinking about their interests can lead you to a great gift. Maybe it’s a family member, co-worker or even a friend, but I’ve come up with a few ideas that make even the hardest person to buy for, easy!!

Gift Guide Buy for Anyone

Here’s a closer look at everything in the collage

For the girl friend that has everything//

A cutepompom clipfor their key chain or purse! My friend is super hard to buy for, but I know that she loves cute little things andthis clipcould not be more perfect!

For the tech//

I find that the techy people already have the latest and greatest in “toys” if you will, but what they might not have is something to carry it all around in. Enter in this great travel case that is under $11!! I’ve already bought two!

For your boss//

Some people are against getting their boss a gift for the holiday’s, but I don’t really think it’s a problem. I think keeping it small makes it appropriate and if you’re boss is an avid tea drinker, then an assortment of teas they can keep in the office would be perfect! Much better than a gift card to Starbucks in my opinion!

For the Yankee Swap at work//

The work Yankee swap might be the hardest to buy for because you have to be broad enough to appeal to everyone, but nice enough that you don’t want anyone to think your gift isn’t good enough to keep (hopefully I’m not the only that puts this much pressure on a work gift haha). This year I opted for something local anda paintingthat could be hung in anyone’s cube or office.

For the Yankee Swap with friends//

This one is a little more fun to buy for, but again you want to be broad enough so that all your friends would want this gift. I love buying beautiful notebooks – just ask Gary we have about a dozen at home, but theRifle Paperones are my favorite because they can be used for work, jotting ideas down or really anything they want to take the time to write down.

For the foodie//

Nothing screams foodie more than a cookbook. I’d opt for one that you’ve tried recipes in and know they would enjoy as well. I love theChelsea Market Cookbookbecause it has something for everyone!

For the Co-Worker that’s also a friend//

Since you know where they spend the majority of their time, why not give them something pretty to look at like thisillustrated desk calendar. I for one would love this on my desk!

For the blogger//

Maybe you want to send a little gift to your blogging bestie – if so thisblogging planner notepadwould be ideal.

Would you say you’re easy or hard to buy for? What do you choose for those people that are hard to buy for?

This is a great list! I love the ideas for coworkers and boss especially because it can be hard to buy for them.
I think adult coloring books are a good one, too, for someone you know is creative, or could use some stress relief. I totally want some! 🙂
