Weekending | Holiday Parties Have Started

Happy Monday friends! Anyone else needing a coffee to get themselves going this morning – hopefully not just me! Let’s get right into what we got up to this weekend.

Right after work on Friday, Gary and I headed to the Westin Waterfrontfor his work holiday party. Gotta love a company that goes all out for the employees and my friend Erica had a hand in planning the hold thing!! Can we just talk about the photo booth that I was having way too much fun with!! Not pictured the gummy bears from the candy bar that I devoured when we got home – they were Sugarfina and are the most delicious gummy bears you will ever taste!

Seems like the football gods were not on my side this weekend with both the Gators and the Patriots losing…but at least there’s always sushi, which is always a winner! If you think I eat a lot of sushi – you’d be 100% correct!

I have a love/hate relationship with braids because I love how they look when I nail them, but hate how long it takes me to actually get one to look decent!

Sunday we had lunch at Legal Test Kitchen – I’ve mentioned it a few times and that’s because the food is always out of this world! We split the turkey and corn meatballs (insane) and then I had the truffled chicken salad club with seaweed salad & Gary had grilled Chinese sausage with bacon braised Brussels sprouts – that I all but inhaled myself!! So yeah – lunch was good!

One thing I love about Boston is that I’m always finding new areas to explore. South Boston had a one day Holiday Market featuring lots of gorgeous handmade items, including one piece I found from Mae Chevrette that I’ll be using for a gift swap at work!

When Mother Nature decides to throw a nearly 60 degree day your way in December you do your best to enjoy it and enjoy it we did – we made our way from the Seaport back to Beacon Hill and if you didn’t already know – it’s my favorite in all of Boston!

We ended the weekend with the first night of Hanukkah and it couldn’t have been more perfect!

And with that, here’s hoping you have just as many parties this week as you have meetings!!

Loving your outfit for Gary's work party, and that photo booth looked like so much fun! And you totally nailed that braid! I started braiding my hair like that for the beach so the wind isn't blowing my hair into my face. Sometimes they come out nice, and sometimes they don't lol.

Oh gosh I cannot get the braid just right. I have resorted to the twist which I think still looks ok!

Your braid turned out great! I never could do mine! I loved when my husband's company would throw those Christmas parties! Good memories!
