Weekend Snaps

Happy Monday friends - we're all going back to the grind since none of us won the Power Ball millions, but how fitting is this print?! Always fun to daydream about what you'd do with the money...but enough about the lottery let's get right into the weekend! Some snaps that got me to Monday...
Decided to start the weekend with dessert first because, why not right?! Well Gary split the donut with me so I only felt half guilty!
Aer Nail Bar Brookline
After an early morning barre session I made my way to my favorite nail salon for a gel manicure! For all my local girls, Aer Nailbar is amazing...only salon I've found that actually has my gel manicure last over 2 weeks!!
Candle Pin Bowling
Saturday night candle pin bowling & guess who won their first time playing? This girl...we'll just call it beginners luck!!
We had such a great time and the pizza, which The Flatbread Company happens to be known for was amazing!
Davis Square Painted Burro
After bowling we headed to the Painted Burro (I swear it's the only place I go to in Davis Square) and ended up running into Christina - yay! It's always fun to enjoy a few hours out!!
It may have been raining all day on Sunday, but we still made it out for lunch at Cityside Bar! The Buffalo Chicken wrap was amazing - their waffle fries, are dare I say, better than Chick-Fil-A!!
Pantry Stores Brookline
Changed up our grocery routine and headed to Pantry to pick up dinner's for the week!! It's the same concept as getting the fresh food delivered to you like Blue Apron or Hello Fresh, but Pantry is a brick and mortar store that you can go in and pick the food out yourself. With a lot of different food choices, it's always fun picking out dinner!
Hunkered down Sunday night to watch the Golden Globes Red Carpet!!

Favorite Newbies//
Brie Larson (Calvin Klein)// Alicia Vikander (Louis Vuitton)// Jamie Alexander (Jenny)

Favorite Over The Top Sleeves//
Corrine Fox//Sarah Hay//Viola Davis (Marchesa)

Red & Sparkles//
Olivia Wilde//Emmy Rossum//Kate Bosworth (Dolce & Gabbana)
My absolute favorite of the night was Jenna Dewan Tatum in Zuhair Murad Couture!
Quick shout out to my best friend Rachel who just launched her blog - Cubicle Couture!! If you have time, hop on over to say hello!

How was your weekend? Did you watch the Golden Globes? Are you going to play the Power Ball?

  20. That navy gown is amazing!! I love seeing all the dresses after the fact. Why can't we all have an excuse (or two) to dress to the nines on a Sunday night?? Yay for a bowling win... and for a donut. Or half a donut. Either one would make Monday easier. ;)

  27. Congrats on kicking butt in bowling! I'm so terrible at it, and would probably play a lot better if the bumpers were up. I love actually going to the grocery store and looking at everything that we'll need for the week, so Pantry sounds like a fun concept if everything is already prepackaged for you to pick out your meals. It sounds like you had an amazing weekend!

  28. so the powerball is open to canadian residents but this is the process:

    - you can submit your number selections to a 3rd party who will go out and buy your ticket for you (payment is the $2USD plus some kind of admin fee).
    - they scan your ticket and email you a copy
    - if you win, they will wire transfer you the $ so you don't even have to leave your computer to buy ticket/claim winnings.

because all of that sounds legit, right?! LOLOLOLOL

  29. Looks like you guys had a fab weekend and fit a ton in! My inlaws were in town.....so yeah...... I wish we had a place like Pantry. I love the concept of blue apron but I don't like that you can't pick the meals that you want. We are definitely buying more tickets for Wednesdays night drawing!

  30. Loving the quote so cute and so accurate! You guys seem to always have the most wonderful and fun weekends! Loving the bowling pictures! And that place with all the nail polish looks like heaven!

  40. I think just to touch a million dollars would be nice. It's so large at this point that it could be split amongst several people and still pay them for the rest of their lives. that donut looks amazing! I ate oreos all weekend. That bowling looks like so much fun too. It's like mini bowling for adults. Although I think kids would like that too easier to handle the ball. The Pantry looks gorgeous, I had to wonder if it was a store or something else, Channing's wife looks gorgeous! Still can't believe they met up on the step up set and got married afterwards, and have been married for a long time (well in hollywood terms).

We do plan on buying another ticket, you never know! And no we didn't watch them, however I heard that Leo won another one! Poor man hasn't won his Oscar yet.

  41. Looks like you had a pretty fun weekend!! Congrats on winning the bowling game too! I have no idea which dress/look was my favorite at the Golden Globes, but there were so pretty good ones!! :-)

  42. Weren't the dresses beautiful this year? I was only able to see a little bit of the Golden Globes, but I've had fun following the dresses on Twitter. I hadn't seen Sarah Hay's though. Gorgeous! I rarely ever play the lotto, but we did buy a few tickets last time, and probably will again. You never know...lol. Looks like your weekend was fun, and if that manicure lasted through bowling I'd say that's winning too!

  43. I totally missed the golden globes yesterday, totally forgot they were on!! I've never heard of the girl in the white dress in your newbies section but I am in LVOE with that dress! (Also totally crossing my fingers for the powerball hahaha)

  44. I watched most of the Golden Globes (fell asleep at the very end) and the most memorable thing may have been Jonah Hill in that bear hat... they bleeped out half of his words... I'm thinking he was very drunk lol. But that Pantry store looks pretty awesome and I actually think we have a HelloFresh coming this week!

  45. Your Globe picks and mine are nearly identical! Except I added JLaw and the woman in the gold dress was skipped not because it wasn't pretty (ok, STUNNING) but because she was so awkward in it! She looked uncomfortable and didn't stand with any confidence. So she got the boot. But the pink sequin look was amazing!

    ReplyDelete
  46. I totally missed the Golden Globe Awards but I did see some of the dresses. Jlo and Jenna looked amazing! They were my favorites. I think I need to check out that Nail salon. My gel manicure has only been lasting me a week and I'm not very happy about it. Happy Monday! Stay warm!
