Happy first Monday of May friends!! The start of a new month is the best - especially when it falls on a weekend! There was a little relaxation, a lot of work & a little celebrating so here's what we got up to!
To agree on a movie for Gary and I is pretty momentous! After settling Brooklyn - and if you haven't seen it, I now know why Saoirse Ronan was nominated at every awards show earlier this year, it was amazing - we broke out a new red wine from Louis Jadot and indulged in a red velvet cupcake from Sweet Bakery! The perfect Friday night if you ask me!
Saturday was all work, but fun work if that makes any sense!! Jackie (my business partner) and I were working with Valerie from VS Photography (you might remember I highlighted her recently for B~Inspired) - my first stop was getting my nails done and I'd like to mention that one of my goals for April was to take a break from Gel manicures, so I successfully made it to April 30...good enough!
I can't wait to share all the photos and exactly what it is we're working on...but until then just a few sneak peeks and you'll be seeing this dress a lot over the next few weeks because of how versatile it is - oh and it's currently 50% off!
After a successful day of photos we all went out for a celebratory drink at Coppersmith in South Boston. This was all of our first times there and we split a few different apps - you got to see the queso tater tots if you follow me on snapchat (@blovedboston), they were amazing and we'll be back!
Sunday marked the first day for the South End Open Market (SOWA) opening for the season and not only have they changed to a much bigger location this year, but it seems like they have added so many more vendors AND food trucks! I met Jamel, the owner of Melsy's Illustrations and fell in love with her work! I spent a good 20 minutes going through all the prints - picked this one out for a bride of ours and found this one that I can't wait to add to my desk!
I had my first Union Square Donuts experience at SOWA and I can't even describe the flavor that this donut packs - Gary was lucky that I shared! Another snap of food you may have seen was from the Chicken & Rice guys - I'm not sure why it's taken me so long to try them, but I've already been stalking their truck schedule and I know I will be having them again this week!
May is going to be jam packed and that's totally fine by me!! How was your start to May? Link up below to share your weekends with us!
P.S. I'm also guest posting over on Darcy's blog today - so if you have time to check it out you'll see some of my favorite adventures!
