Weekending Snaps

Happy Monday friends!! I’m not going to lie, there was talk about this weekend being a washout and I think my confusion of it being sunny and pretty on Friday totally put good vibes out in the universe because it was really pretty amazing all weekend long – a sprinkle on Sunday didn’t last long at all!

Here’s a little peek into the weekend…

I love this time of year because so many people are visiting Boston, especially fellow bloggers, which means lots of blates! Brittanyand her husband were able to squeeze us into their weekend visit with brunch on Saturday atSonsie. For as many times as I’ve been to the restaurant, I’ve actually never been for brunch – that will be changing since we all loved our food! The boys had the prime rib hash and we both enjoyed the French toast!! I’m still drooling over the warm caramel sauce it came with!

We were sad to only have a little time together, but they had a packed day so we said our goodbyes and made it over to the opening weekend of Lawn on D. I’ve mentioned Lawn on Da few times before, but we weren’t expecting so many people out! They had live music, games for kids, of course the big swings, cornhole and plenty of things to do! Next time, we’re bringing a lunch to enjoy a picnic outside – it’s one of my favorite spots in the city!

After a couple hours, we decided to get our steps in and walk through the city doing what we love to do – be touristy!

As much as I love being on the go, I love relaxing equally which is exactly what I did on Sunday with the exception of watching my nephew’s lacrosse game! A little sister time and some quality time with my dad!

We made the chicken maidera from my favorites postand capped it off with a sweet treat from Urban Cupcake Co. Guys, they can hand deliver your cupcake order if you’re in the Boston area…that’s right cupcakes delivered to your door which is how my Sunday night ended and how I think every weekend should end!

Made with all natural ingredients and no artificial flavors – these were the tastiest cupcakes I’ve had in a really long time! I love the names they’ve given their cupcakes like “The OG Collection” with Make it Rainbow & Get Hyped! And since they’re mini, less guilt when you eat 2 (or 3)!!
