Friday Favorites | Getting Started with June

Happy Friday friends!! This week flew by thanks to a shortened work week! I’m ready to kick back and enjoy the weekend with a few plans sprinkled in between relaxing! Linking up with Amanda to share some favorites from the week!

Favorite Recipe

Tofu is not for everyone and believe me, I don’t normally like it, but when it’s crunchy it sort of takes my brain a few more minutes to process what I’m eating which is why I gave in and ate this Crispy Tofu – instead of the soba noodles we changed it out for a veggie stir fry and added a little brown rice! It was delicious and super filling! I usually snack a bit after dinner, but I was stuffed after just one plate of this! We’ll definitely be making this again!

Favorite Show

Last year Bloodline debuted on Netflix to sort of mixed reviews – I’ll admit that the first season was really hard to get into, but about 5 episodes in, you get hooked. Over Memorial Day Weekend the second season premiered and we didn’t have any problems getting sucked in! Over the course of 4 days we finished the 10 episodes in the 2nd season and I have to say it was way better than the first (in my opinion) – so if you haven’t watched it yet – it’s a good one!

Favorite DIY

I have been wanting to organize all my recipes in some sort of coherent way and came acrossthese recipe binder printables on I Heart Organizing – all that’s left is to get the binder!

Favorite Beauty Item

I have been loving overnight masks and just recently finished this one from Origins (also reviewed here) and as much as I loved it, I’m ready to try out a different one. I’ve tried other First Aid Beauty products so I’m really excited to get their overnight mask! One reviewer on amazon said the bottle lasted them 4 months – that’s a pretty great ROI for $38!

Favorite Links

Good morning, and happy Friday!! I made a crunchy tofu recipe this week too, which was so random because I NEVER cook tofu…but I used zucchini noodles, which were also delicious!

I saw that Chip and Joanna link on Facebook this week, and I read and (yes..) fell in love with them even more. I hope that they stay strong in believing what they believe and supporting strong family values! It seems like there have been quite a few strong TV families (the Gosselins, the Duggards…) who started out being unshakeable, but 5-10 years of fame got to them and then things went downhill… 🙁 I really hope that doesn't happen with the Gaines, though!

I agree about Tofu. When it's crispy, it is not too bad. That recipe binder is so cute!! I love keeping all mine in a little binder (that I made in high school) lol Have a great weekend!!!
