Summer Bucket List

Summer bucket lists are fun, they give us something to look forward to and are great when we need a little inspiration when we’re looking to shake things up a bit on weekends that can become more routine than spontaneous! Here’s a few things I wouldn’t mind checking off my list!

Explore more of New England // If our trip over Memorial Day Weekend taught us anything, it’s that you don’t need a car to explore some of New England’s best destinations. We’ll be making a dent in some hot spots soon!

Berry Picking // For as much as I love going apple picking, I can’t believe we’ve never gone strawberry or blueberry picking! There are loads of farms that you can pick your own berries near the city! Might even have to make a pie to commemorate all the fresh fruit!

Head to the arboretums // We take advantage of being outside as much possible this time of year, as I’m sure all of you do! Pretty lucky to live so close to two really pretty arboretums – The Arnold Arboretum & there’s actually one at Mt. Auburn Cemetery – found out about this through Christina’s Snap Chat!!

Franklin Park Zoo // I haven’t been to the zoo in years!!! I love animals and we wouldn’t have to go too far to enjoy the zoo so it’s a no-brainer that we have to go this summer!

Enjoy as many lobster rolls as possible // I don’t think this one needs much explanation, but I plan on enjoying as many lobster rolls as possible this summer and I suggest you all do as well, especially if you come to Boston! Check out my favorite one here

Go to a drive in movie // This has been on my list for years!!  There is something quintessentially summer about seeing a movie outside and ever since I saw the movie Grease (when I was so little) I’ve wanted to go to a drive in!! We don’t have any nearby, but it’s possible so we’ll make it happen!

What’s on your Summer Bucket List?

I haven't been to a drive in since I was little!!! My dad used to pop popcorn and put it in big brown paper bags and I'd take my favorite blanket. I'd be eating as many berries as I picked!! So fun!! Love your list and I need a lobster roll!!' 😉

This is such a fun bucket list! I have ALWAYS wanted to go to a drive-in movie theater but the closest one to us is pretty far away. And we make a point to go to the zoo every summer so I DEFINITELY support that one–it's such a blast!!

I'm actually posting a very similar post today. I have loved reading other bloggers goals, or in your case, a bucket list. I find time escapes me (I mean all of us, really). I started setting seasonal goals for myself. I hope you tackle these! Drive in movies are so much fun! The oldest drive in theater in Ohio is located in my home town! I've been there a million times!
