Weekending | Last of August

Happy Monday friends!! I can't begin to tell you how excited I am for this week...WE'RE MOVING! I didn't let packing stop me from enjoying the weekend - here are a few moments of fun captured!

I had my first acupuncture appointment on Friday after work and it was seriously amazing!! I decided to try it because I was feeling a little less than centered with a ton of stuff going on and I'm so happy I decided to do it before our move because it completely mellowed me out!! I could actually feel the stress leaving my body while I was laying there - might sound crazy, but I'm a believer and I was feeling the zen effects the entire weekend - even in the midst of packing nightmares!
A few of us went out to continue the celebration of a successful Bridal Pop Up from the weekend before at Bastille Kitchen. I've been to Bastille a few times before & it never disappoints and the charcuterie board is one of the best...although I could do with a little cheese on it ;)
After a morning barre class I wasn't ready to head back home to pack - so I decided to explore and enjoy the amazing weather we were having!! Anyone that's been to Boston knows what a walkable city it is - I lazily made my way down all the streets and stopped at the esplanade!

It's hard not to fall in love with the charm of Boston!
It just wouldn't be a weekend without something wedding related, right?! I was lucky enough to be part of my friend Meg's bridal shower on Sunday and it honestly could not have been a more perfect day!

Meg's sister and mom planned a truly beautiful afternoon at Fruitland's Museum in Harvard, MA. There is so much land out there, I can only imagine how beautiful it is during the Fall...I made a mental note to check it out for brunch when the weather cools off!
Cheers to Monday friends!! P.S. the nail polish is Essie's new Gel Couture line and even with all the packing has held up for 6 days without a chip - on normal people's nails that's the equivalent of 2 weeks!!  I hope you have a wonderful start to the week! Link up below to share your weekends!

  5. I've heard awesome things about acupuncture but never tried it myself--but if it relaxed you in the midst of a move (or right before it) then it HAD to work! Love the shower--the view there looks awesome!

  31. I'm so glad you were able to find some time to have fun and enjoy the great weather this weekend in between packing! I've never done acupuncture, now you have me wanting to give it a try! I've never really read any reviews or talked to anyone about it and what exactly it does. I'm all in favor to try something that will help mellow me out, haha! I believe I've only ever been to Boston once in my teens and I didn't do much exploring. Based on the photos you share, it really does seem quite charming and I really want to go someday; I can imagine how cute the streets must look come fall! Thanks so much for sharing, beautiful and I hope you have a great start to your week!

Girl, how do you like barre? It is on my to do list for 2017. Also, a platter of ham, prosciutto, olives, crackers and cheese is always, always a favorite of mine. Especially accompanied by some melon, grapes and wine. ;-)
