Weekending Tidbits

Happy Monday everyone! Did you make the most of the extra hour gained this Sunday? I definitely feel like I did!! It was an extra long weekend that started off with the wedding of our friends Meg & Mike! It could not have been a more perfect Fall day and funny enough when Gary and I were first dating we attended a wedding at the same country club - so it was pretty fun being back as a married couple!!

I got a lot of questions about my necklace and it's a couple of season's old from Zara, but I found a few on eBay if you're interested!! I love it because it goes with everything! If you're interested in seeing how I did my hair, I actually blogged about it a couple years ago - using the Kiss InstaWave and it only took 20 minutes!
 Completely and totally in love!!
We had the best time celebrating with our friends - these girls are the absolute best!!
After an incredibly productive morning of cleaning, laundry and all the chores I usually leave until Sunday, we made our way to the Copley area. We made a little pit stop at the Boston Public Library. It's hard to believe this beautiful courtyard is smack dab in the middle of the city!! It's a little slice of Europe to me!!

I was invited to pop into Shinola at the Prudential Mall - they just opened their first store in Boston this past weekend and treated guests to mini lobster rolls, ice cream floats and gorgeous hand crafted watches.
The extra hour gained on Sunday was not lost on me - up at the new 7:00 AM, breakfast and finishing the latest season of The Fall. Netflix released the latest season from the BBC and with only 6 episodes per season it's so easy to finish in one weekend! I had a couple of meetings in Assembly Square so once they were over I took the opportunity to do a little shopping. J.Crew Factory & Saks Off 5th were having Black Friday worthy sales so I scooped up some pretty bracelets & another perfect hat!  Be on the lookout for a little fashion post with this dress.
For the last couple of Sunday's I've been able to try a new recipe out and the one I mentioned on Friday was a total success! Plenty of leftovers for lunch today as well! It was such a great weekend, should I mention that we got started on another show?!

  2. First of all--you looked absolutely gorgeous at the wedding! And anywhere handing out little lobster rolls and ice cream floats is a place I want to be! I feel like I had a "Luke's Lobsters" on my list when we visited NYC but didn't make it--I didn't realize it was a chain/franchise! Anyway! HI! It's good to catch up with you. It's been a minute!!

  33. Congratulations to your friends again for tying the knot, Meg made for such a beautiful bride and I adore your outfit! You've convinced me to invest in a Louis Vuitton scarf, they are gorgeous and make for a great option as a shawl for special occasions, such as a wedding, and girl, I'm swooning over your metallic pumps! That event sounds amazing. How come I can never attend one that serves lobster rolls!? Haha! Thanks so much for sharing and I hope you have the best week ahead, beauty!

The color of that hat! I totally love it and can't wait to see you style it. Hats are totally my thing, I need to find one in that color.
So funny, because little Charlie has to get used to the time change as well. Last night he was yawning and falling asleep while sitting down. LOL! He finally gave up and went into his cage. We went to bed early as well...I feel so rested this morning.
