I love chambray and I love rompers - only fitting we make into one!
I have these jeans from Ann Taylor and after trying on close to a dozen pairs of white jeans, these are the only ones that I've found that actually don't accentuate the flaws if you know what I mean!
Nothing more Memorial Day through Labor Day appropriate than this white pom pom cover up!
My favorite purchase from two years ago was my denim jacket - It comes in handy in the mornings when it's still a bit chilly out and at night when the sun has gone down!
Pleated lace-trimmed shorts - is there anything better? I also love that they aren't fitted in the thighs so you could feel comfortable wearing them during the day and night!
SHOP THE POST
Are you planning to do any red, white and blue shopping this weekend? What's on your Memorial Day shopping list?
Happy Cinco de Mayo friends!! I hope that you're going to be enjoying some tacos, queso and cocktails tonight!! Before 5:00 PM strikes I thought I'd talk about some books on my radar! Last June I shared my Summer reading list and since then I've read a book here and there, but honestly nothing like I was reading last year - so I'm here to get myself excited for some new books and hopefully you'll share some of current reads with me as well!
As someone turning thirty next year, I'm really excited to read this book about someone that "has it all," but quickly loses it.
What if you were on the cusp of marrying the guy of your dreams and reaching that career goal you set for yourself, only for all of it to be taken away in one fell swoop?
What if this all happened a month before you turned 30?
This is the story of Jill Stevens, who after moving back home, finds a list she made in high school of thirty things she wanted to accomplish before her thirtieth birthday.
With a month left and hardly anything crossed off her list, she teams up with old friends to accomplish as much as she can before the big 3-0. Along the way, she discovers her true self and realizes it’s not about the material successes in life but the journey.
Happy first Monday of May friends!! The start of a new month is the best - especially when it falls on a weekend! There was a little relaxation, a lot of work & a little celebrating so here's what we got up to!
To agree on a movie for Gary and I is pretty momentous! After settling Brooklyn - and if you haven't seen it, I now know why Saoirse Ronan was nominated at every awards show earlier this year, it was amazing - we broke out a new red wine from Louis Jadot and indulged in a red velvet cupcake from Sweet Bakery! The perfect Friday night if you ask me!
