Hello Friday! Last week seemed to go by at a snails pace - this week was the opposite! The 4 weeks of planning events is almost over! I think we all blinked and September decided to fly by, so we're on to October and the true start of Fall! Here are a few things that made this week fun!
I am so excited to reveal some exciting news...our styled shoot was featured on Wedding Chicks! Earlier this year - in March, Valerie of VS Photography, Jackie & I (Bespoke Boston Ladies) met to figure out how we could collaborate on a styled shoot! We talked about what made sense for Valerie's expanding boudoir business and how we could highlight our coordinating and design services through the shoot and a Dreamy Boudoir Bridal Shower was born!
Happy Monday friends! We had such a fun time out of the city at a wedding this weekend - really soaking in some of the first signs of fall here in New England!! Anytime we venture to the western part of Massachusetts, I try to coerce G into taking some photos! It seems like every side road leads to a waterfall or an old distillery building. On top of that it's home to some of New England's most beautiful historic colleges!
Happy Friday friends! This week has felt extra long for some reason, but it's officially Fall - the temps are dropping and I'm ready to bust out my new boots! We are headed to a wedding this weekend - the start of 3 in a row for me! My last roundup was exactly a month ago, so it's been a long time - all of that changing today!! Here are a few of my favorite things from the week!
I love to sleep! That moment of getting into bed after a long day is quite possibly one of the best feelings out there. Please tell me I'm not the only one that feels this pressure release as soon as you lay down!! When Gary and I decided that we were going to move, the first item we wanted to purchase was a new bed - so putting it right out there, this is not a sponsored post! We had gone to a few mattress stores to test out some beds, but they were really expensive, even with the promotions and deals that stores were offering, so I set out to find the new-ish trend if you will, of boxed mattresses that I had seen on a few other blogs!
Monday is back way too soon, but coming back from a jam packed fun bachelorette weekend makes it a bit easier!! This weekend 12 of us celebrated our friend in her last fling before the ring...we all had a blast so I'd say it was a success! We made our way down on Friday morning and were in the city right around lunch. I've stayed in a few hotels in different parts of Manhattan and I think the Marriott on Lexington (in Mid Town)is probably one of the best locations thus far - it felt very central and walkable to everywhere we were going, although that was really good planning on the part of Meg's sister who planned the whole weekend!
Not only do I get to go on a girl's trip this weekend, but it just so happens to be a bachelorette party weekend - so that means packing lists have been written well in advance. We've got lots of walking ahead, brunches to be eaten & dance parties to attend!! Here's what I'm packing and hoping my weekender doesn't overflow!
Happy Monday friends!! After having not one, but two nights out, I feel like the weekend flew by, but I'm totally fine with that since I'm already looking forward to Friday and heading to NYC with some of my besties for a bachelorette party!
Happy Tuesday friends!! What a week it has been!! So duh (because I've talked about it ad nauseum at this point), we moved and it was the most seamless and painless move we could have ever asked for! I was worried that one thing would go wrong and throw a wrench into everything, but thankfully the universe was on our side & we were successful!
Happy Labor Day friends!! I'm so happy to have one more day to relax before heading back to work!! If you followed along via snapchat (@blovedboston) you know that the move was successful and I can't wait to recap the weekend tomorrow! Until then, if you have the day off - ENJOY!!
