Stop and smell the flowers

Happy Monday friends. I am going to be the first to admit that with all the unrest happening in our country and all over the world right now it might seem a bit shallow to talk about my weekend. I believe in putting positivity out into the universe – there is so much hate on the internet, in the news and it seems like everywhere we turn, but this space is never going to be like that. What I will say…my family immigrated to America almost 30 years ago – I was just a baby and obviously it was years later that I realized the strength, courage & true grit that my parents had to uproot their two children to a country where they were starting over in the hopes of building something greater.  With that being said, this is merely my way of putting positivity and lightheartedness out there.

This weekend was anything but stopping to smell the flowers – it was non-stop…but there were flowers involved!

We finalized all the tours and hotels for our California trip

Picked up some fresh blooms from Trader Joe’s & created a semi decent arrangement

Somehow I managed to catch the light at just the right time to make this look almost vintage!

Sunday I was up bright and early to partake in a styled photoshoot with some pretty amazing Boston wedding vendors. The last two photos here are taken with the iPhone 7 in portrait mode – seriously I can’t get enough! With a 7:30 AM call time, I was spent for the rest of the day, but that was perfectly fine with me!!

Wishing you all a wonderful week ahead!

I had no idea that you and your family migrated to the States, where are you from if you don't mind me asking? You're so striking, so I'm guessing somewhere along the Mediterranean? I definitely can relate as my husband also immigrated to the US as a child and I'm second generation on both sides of my family. Our world is hurting bad and all we can do is pray and show love to those we encounter everyday, that's the way we can each begin to make a difference. In regards to your weekend, you and your team did a magnificent job with that shoot, it indeed looks vintage and absolutely beautiful!
