Roundup | Spring and Summer Sandals

After taking stock of my closet, specifically my shoes, I've realized that I don't have that many pairs of spring / summer sandals to wear! I wanted to round up a few of the styles that I have my eye on and some that I've already purchased! Some of these are trendier shoes, so I don't want to spend as much because I'm still unsure if I'll like the style so I love that there are dupes for the higher end designer ones out there to test out first!
rockstud shoes, valentino shoes, target heels, espadrilles, slip on shoes, mules

The Must Haves ||

These are the shoes of the season and if it feels like everyone is wearing them, probably because it's true. I have the blue block heel sandals from Target and love them! I haven't bit the bullet on the Marc Fisher espadrilles yet, but it's only a matter of time until I use my Nordstrom GC towards that purchase! I'm also really loving mules, but not quite ready to commit to a pricey option, so these Merona ones from Target are a great one to try the trend out. They come in gray too, but online don't have my size.

Rock Studs ||

Ever since Valentine came out with their rock stud collection, you can find a "save" option practically everywhere. This is a trend that doesn't really seem to be going anywhere, but it's also not something that's "classic" so I'm going to save myself a little money and opt for the non-designer version. If I had to pick a favorite it would most definitely be these espadrille rock stud flatforms from SheIn and only $30! Of course Target nailed it with their look-a-like Valentino option in these gladiator sandals

Slip on ||

I'm not completely sold on the slip on shoes with no backs. For one, I'm a little concerned that my toes will be death-gripping the front of the shoe - please tell me you know what I'm talking about! The lack of support on around the back of my heel makes me think they wont be a shoe that I'll wear for long periods of time, but I'm willing to give the trend a chance. I found two great low cost options from SheIn - the loafer with a bow would be great for a casual Friday at work & the black embroidered ones are an amazing dupe for the $700 pair of shoes from Gucci! And how cheeky are these espadrilles - my black ones are on their last leg and I love the comfort of espadrille flats! They also come in black and under $35!

  1. I can't decide about those espadrilles - I am worried they would make my feet look huge and clunky! I have see them everywhere though, so I may have to at least try them on! And those blue heels are so cute. Love the color!

  7. I love all your picks! I have the Marc Fisher espadrilles from last year and they are probably one of my favorites. But, after Steve Madden came out with a virtual carbon copy of them, I'm thinking about buying them in every color! The Marc Fisher ones truly are fabulous! Have a great weekend, Biana!

  15. I've been having my eye on the Marc Fisher espadrilles for some time now, too! They really seem to be comfy and can go with everything, so the price seems validated; I think I may save it for a birthday purchase, not sure, but I do want them! That said, if you have a gift card, girl, get them! They really do seem to be amazing! I also love those studded shoes from Shein, they're so cute and look like they'd go so well with many looks! Thanks for sharing, beauty, and I hope you have a great weekend ahead!

  17. Great picks. I too need some spring shoes. I did pick up a pair of espadrilles and cannot wait to wear them. I have the rock studs and love them. I only got them because I was able to get them on sale. I would never have gotten them if I didn't get a good deal on them. I have them in hot pink! Shocking I know, right? Have a wonderful weekend pretty lady.

    Not sure about slip on / backless shoes either...I just don't feel like they would look cute on me!

  31. I feel the same way about slip-ons, I worry about them coming off, and it has happened before. I like those black ones in the "must haves" section. I try to always have at least two pairs of black shoes, since they go with anything.
