Father's Day Gift Guide

My dad takes impeccable care of his belongings, so much so that it makes it really hard to buy gifts for him because he will keep a pair of sunglasses for years before wanting or needing another pair. Meanwhile, my mom, sister & I will all have at least 6 different pairs to rotate! Must be a man thing because Gary is the same way! I called my dad the other day and asked him what he wanted for Father's Day and his response was a new printer - progress made! That was until I found out he had been using the printer that I left behind after I graduated college - 8 years ago...that had been used for 4 years before he ever got it- talk about a great return on investment!
What to buy for dad, gift guide for father's day, gifts for men, grill gifts, sugarfina
I think gifts should be things that someone wants, but also a good mix of things that they would never really seek out and buy for themselves! Here's a little roundup of Father's Day gift ideas!
  • I think baseball hats are a staple in any man's closet and you can't go wrong with gifting  a hat in the Summer.
  • If you have someone in your life that travels a lot, this on the go travel set is perfect, especially if they always steal your products!!
  • I was so excited when I found out that Sugarfina came out with new flavors that are more geared towards the guys - let's be real everyone loves a good piece of candy! This "Vice Collection" set includes bourbon, scotch and cuba libere flavors! I got Gary the bourbon gummies a few weeks back just as a little something and he loved them!
  • Recently my dad has become very techy! He loves to read about the latest gadgets and sometimes knows about iPhone functions I don't event know about. I think he'd get a kick out of the Alexa Echo & getting his weather, music and other fun updates from it. I can also hear him saying "Alexa, what's the weather like today" in his boisterous Russian accent!
  • My dad is extremely neat & everything has it's own place. These catchall trays are great because you can have them at the entry way or on your nightstand for everything you need. We have one in the front hall and use it to keep our keys and any mail that has to go out.
  • We have this digital meat thermometer fork and LOVE it! I am so nervous about cooking / overcooking meat, but especially chicken and I know that my mom is the same way with food - so this fork would save my dad a lot of trouble by just showing my mom - yes it's completely cooked! If there is an actual grill involved my BIL has this bluetooth iGrill that connects to his phone and you can step away from the grill and mingle with guests during parties!
  • We've all seen the #momlife items, but I think these #dadlife mugs are just as funny! If I could find one for #retiredlife I would totally get that for my dad!
Are the men in your life hard to buy for? Do you have a go to Father's Day gift?

  1. My boyfriend's dad birthday was two days ago and we were completely clueless about what to gift him. We ended up buying an expensive bootle of brandy -- we know he likes it :)

  9. Great gift ideas! My dad is so hard to shop for, and my husband kind of it too. I usually let my kids make them both something, then add in a gift I know they wouldn't buy themselves. Even though they always just prefer the kids homemade gifts :)

  19. My dad is so predictable, a hat and he's happy, lol. Seriously, he has this thing with baseball caps and they have to be in earthy colors. I don't know why because it's not even like he hunts or anything, I mean he lives in NYC, haha. But, that's what he likes, so it's usually easy. That and some tools, so your hat suggestion and that cool grill meat monitor would also be something he'd love because he loves to cook. In fact, I think I may get one for myself, too, haha! Thanks for sharing, gorgeous, and I hope you have a great day!

  33. That's too funny that your dad was using your printer from college! My parents didn't even have a printer when they moved so they'd been asking us to print stuff for them every time we'd come in town! This is a great list of Father's Day gift ideas and I can't think of a dad or any man that wouldn't make great use of a catchall tray!

  34. A beach atmosphere is relaxed and casual, and a beach wedding is no exception. This can be quite freeing when you are choosing your wedding dress.david's bridal uk That's not to say your beach wedding has to be casual, but you can pretty much run the gamut on dress type for this occasion. You can go anything from an off-the-rack sun dressdress hire london to a formal custom-made wedding gown. But there are some things you need to keep in mind when choosing what to wear on your special day.
