Spring Weekending in Boston

Hello & Happy Monday friends! We are more than halfway through April and it's finally decided to act like Spring here in Boston! You could tell everyone was in such a happy mood because the sun was shining!
During the week I stopped by the opening of Magnolia Bakery for so much sweetness! I think I may have left on a sugar high and was sent home with some treats to share with Gary as well!
This location will be very dangerous for a lot of people who work downtown, i.e. me!
Friday after work Gary and I met up to pick up some paint (#adulting) and settled into dinner at one of our favorite restaurants on Charles Street, Figs! I think I've mentioned it at least a dozen times, but if you are ever in Boston you must check it out and absolutely get the asparagus fritto - delicious!
After a day of errands I met up with my girls at Citrus & Salt. It was my first time there and it almost seems like it belongs in Miami! So colorful, vibrant and fun - obviously meant for Instagram!
Had to take a photo in their bathroom - too fun not to!
Jackie & I had a venue visit with one of our couples for their June wedding & managed to sneak in a little shopping after! It was finally "springy" enough to be able to wear my new denim jacket and slides that I picked up in Dublin! P.S. my sock tan is a little out of control in this photo 😂Still rocking these sunglasses 2 years later and they are $100 off!
Wishing you all a wonderful week ahead!

  9. I LOVE Magnolia’s desserts! In fact, I got my gender reveal cake from them, which was incredibly delicious! You look so cute in that pink top and I adore that jacket. I remember reading when you first purchased it, but seeing it on, it looks even better. It has such a unique look to it. Thanks for sharing, beauty, and I hope you have a great week ahead!

  40. Hooray for spring finally arriving in Boston! It’s been abnormally cool down here too, and I’m ready for warmer weather! Knowing where a good bakery is located really is so dangerous! It just gives you an excuse to eat something delicious!

  41. When do you have time to read??? You go girl, I don't think I could work full time, have a part-time business, maintain a blog, find time to spend with hubby and girlfriends AND bake a baby! Good grief!

Seriously you should do a post on time management as in how you manage to get done everything that you do. I'm curious, do you have household help as in having somebody come in to clean? How many nights a week do you cook & do you meal plan and who does the grocery shopping? I have books on Kindle that I never seem to be able to finish. I've started getting books on CD out of my library and listening to them on my commute to and from work. I just started "The couple next door". So far I love it. It makes the commute so much less dreadful and it's FREE!

You look great btw with your little baby bump.
