Weekending Snaps

Weekending

This was the perfect summer weekend!! The only time we weren’t outside was when we were sleeping – that makes for a pretty fantastic weekend!

Eating

I won’t showcase another sushi photo – it’s pretty much assumed that I ate sushi at some point during my weekend…so we’ll move onto Brio. There are tons of Brio locations and one just happened to open in Chestnut Hill. The food was seriously delicious and we split the bruschetta with prosciutto & asparagus, lobster bisque & the crab cakes with shrimp!! I was pleasantly surprised with the crab cakes because they are usually heavily breaded and these were all seafood!!

Took in some al fresco dining on Sunday at Sweet Green. This little salad restaurant is growing and I can only hope that you have a location near you soon!! Kale Caesar salad…enough said!!

Exploring

For anyone that has ever visited Boston, the Esplanade is a great place to go when the weather is cooperating! You can rent kayaks, paddle boats and learn to yacht on the Charles River. We were planning on kayaking, but so was the rest of Boston so we settled for paddle boats!

Exercising

Touching the Green Monstah!

I had a pretty cool opportunity to partake in Yoga at Fenway Park on Sunday! Thanks to my really good friend Jessica & the very generous people at KIND we took a yoga class on the field at the park!! Probably the coolest experience in Boston to date ~ while I’m not a yoga girl in the least – it was pretty amazing knowing Jennifer Aniston’s teacher was the instructor!! Another perk – getting to meet the wonderful Christina from Hungry Meets Healthy! So happy that she’s back in Boston!

Watching

Did anyone else watch Miss USA last night? It’s one of my guilty pleasures and when I was younger I would dream of being one of those girls!! They are a perfect motivator to get me in the exercising mood!! Miss Florida was stunning (I’m probably biased for a hometown favorite)!!

It was clear after the final question that Miss Nevada would win!!

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend and wishing you all a wonderful Monday!! Link below to share your weekending snaps!!

I didn't watch Miss USA this year, but I usually try too. I find pageants so fascinating. Happy Monday friend!

That salad looks so good! My sister had/has pageant dreams as well lol. I found a smaller pageant for her to enter but she insisted she couldn't do the speaking part lol! I think she should have just made herself do it though. XO

Looks like an amazing weekend! I also love the weekends that you spend all of it outside! I was sooo bummed that I missed the Miss USA competition! I always adored those women and watching it growing up and then after competing in the state pageant a couple years ago to try to get to that stage, I love watching it even more! I didn't even think to record it either so I'm hoping to catch it on Hulu one of these days! 🙂
