Happy Monday lovelies!!! We had the most laid back, but fun weekend!! I spent entirely too much time trying to finish reading Gone Girl
When the weather is gross you eat!! And eat we did – pizza du jour at The Abbey.
Since it was still pretty gloomy Saturday night , we decided to make our way to a comedy show. My favorite part of going to Dick Doherty’s are the three different comics they feature. I think you can always expect a little crudeness, but the second guy literally made me blush!
Sunday morning starting out the best way I know how with tea, coffee and a chocolate croissant!
We made our way to the Arboretum to take in the most perfect Fall day! If you ever visit Boston make a stop here – as long as it’s not in the Winter, this is worth the trip!
It was like we were transported into the French countryside.
Getting past feeling like a lumberjack in my flannel.
We rounded out out day in the best way possible way with the pasta recipe I posted on Friday!! The sauce was delicious and so easy!! I highly suggest making it!!

All the food looks amazing. I need to re-read Gone Girl before I see the movie though I heard the ending is different in the movie. It is so pretty here in the Fall and the Arboretum is no exception.

Those pictures from the arboretum are really making me wish I had gone to the park to read this weekend instead of putting on my sweats to watch football all day. Looks like a great weekend.

What a great weekend! Comedy clubs are so fun, but I agree that they sometimes can get out of hand and just embarrassing depending on the comic. Your pasta dish looks like it turned out great! It also looks like you had some perfect fall weather by you – it was downright freezing here. Happy Monday, girl!

That PIZZA! I'm almost drooling, it looks soo good! I spent half the weekend trying to finish Gone Girl, too but no luck. Hopefully we can both see it next weekend! And yay for finally getting your wedding dress cleaned! It's on my to do list 🙂

Oh em gee your weekend sounds perfect!! I've been dying to get out to a comedy house with the hubs for years. We used to go all the time when we were in college! And I cursed our small little town over the weekend because I was dying for a chocolate croissant but no where in town had one! I almost ALMOST made my own haha!

I'm usually not a big meat on my pizza person but that pizza looks SO good- all I can think about now for dinner is pizza and it's 10am! It looks like you guys had a great weekend- love your flannel shirt! We didn't see Gone Girl yet either– I think we're going to try and go on a week night to maybe avoid some of the crowds, but we'll see!

I just love that flannel top! We have a comedy club in Tulsa that we've been to a couple times, we need to go more because we always have a good time!

I definitely am enjoying relaxing weekends more these days compared to the crazy busy ones that leave me exhausted on a Monday. Yumm now Im craving pizza with lots of good toppings. Looks like you got better weather on Sunday and a great day to be outside.

I still haven't read the book yet, but I definitely want to before seeing the movie. I've done that before where I see the movie before reading the book, and the movie ends up ruining the book for me! Has that happened to you??
