Weekending | Thanksgiving Edition

Happy December everyone and what a weekend that just passed!! My heart is as full as my stomach! I won’t recap the treacherous conditions that Mother Nature decided to throw our way on Wednesday night, but waking up to a winter wonderland was well worth it to kick the holiday season off!!

I promised my in-laws a feast and that’s exactly what we provided them with!!! I give holiday hosts so much credit because being in the kitchen from 9:30 AM – 2:00 PM is no joke!!!

It was my first time making fresh cranberry sauce and it was beyond delicious!! The table was full of the best food – and much to Gary’s dismay not too much was left over!

Post dinner stroll and yes I realize we took an almost identical picture last weekend!!

Friday we made our way to my sister’s house to celebrate the rest of the Thanksgiving holiday!! My niece just started taking riding lessons and she’s so good, yes I’m biased!! The boys playing some video games and might I add, my BIL and Gary were playing against my nephew because he was whooping them in hockey!! Bottom right photo is about as close to camping as I will ever come!!

Saturday we were due for some post Black Friday shopping at MarketStreet in Lynnfield! It was surprisingly calm and I finally got that North Face hat I’ve been wanting as well as a cute blouse from J.Crew since they were having an extra 40% off clearance items!

We went to dinner with my family Saturday night and enjoyed a seriously delicious dinner and out of this world tiramisu!!

The picture quality on this photo makes me 100% sure I need a DSLR camera!!

Not one to pass up on candlepin bowling – we played a few games after dinner. Yep bowling in heels!! And just like that the weekend was over and it’s back to work, but when it falls on Cyber Monday I’m pretty happy!!

I get almost all my Christmas shopping done today and using Ebates makes shopping that much more fulfilling!! A lot of retailers are doing double cash back too!! Below are some sales along with the ones I posted on Friday that are still good today!

C.Wonder is offering 40% off site wide

Express has 50% off site wide and free shipping

J.Crew has an additional 40% off sale items

Piperlime has 30% off site wide and additional 40% off sale items code CYBERSALE

How was your Thanksgiving? Did you buy anything good?

Hope you have a great Monday!!
