Friday Favorites

happy friday

The first week back from vacation is always rough and this one was no different. Boston clearly didn’t get the memo for Spring and gave us frigid temps again…they are promising 70 degrees next week so we’ll see!! I’m linking up with Amanda and Lizto share some favorites from this week!

Favorite Recipe

After eating nearly everything  under the sun last week, I’ve been on major detox mode and this salad will be made for lunches next week!!

Favorite New Book Releases

I’ve had my eye on two books that were just recently released and I can’t wait to download them!! I love Giuliana Rancic & I’m a new fan of Louisa Roe who has a great fashion blog! I’ll be downloading both Front Roeand Going Off Script this weekend.

Favorite Outfit

I can’t get this fabulous pink trench that Krystin Lee woreand it’s less than $50…granted it’s on pre-order right now, but I can’t even imagine a more perfect trench!

Favorite DIY

I finally know what I’m going to do with all those pretty shopping bagsthat I keep…that is when I get a closet big enough to show them off!

Favorite New Collection

Before leaving for Puerto Rico last week, my friend and I were lucky enough to view the newly releasedTiffany CT60 Watch Collection. We got to learn the history behind Tiffany watches and the inspiration behind this collection – A New York Minute! I had no idea that Tiffany & Co. was behind things like the first stop watch and also designing FDR’s favorite watch that is also an inspiration for the new collection!

While most of the pieces are geared towards men, there were a few watches that I would pretty excited to get!

Favorite Links

+ Loved this piece on finding balance one phase at a time

+ I am crushing hard on the popular spring color: Blush

+ Peruse some of these incredible hotel suites

I’m looking forward to a relaxing weekend at home and hope you all have a wonderful weekend!! See you back on Monday for Weekending!

That shopping bag idea is so smart! I'm loving blush as well–it's the perfect neutral color without just being white and isn't so bright that it's in your face!

Yes! I've been loving blush! That trench is amazing. Need to read that balance article. Although I really think a laundry girl would help me find balance. πŸ˜‰ lol I was sooo sick with a stomach virus yesterday and am so behind on chores, because the kids have been sick too. We are a mess. Luckily Marc had a day off yesterday and was available to make me soup and bring gingerale/ keep the kardashians playing so I could watch from my bed and not have to move lol. I can't remember the last time I felt so bad. Feeling better today though. Have a great weekend! xo
