Weekending | The First of Summer

Welcome to Summer friends!!! I hope this weekend was spent with friends, family and doing things outside!! This was the first weekend in a while that each day was our own and we couldn’t have been happier. Here’s what I got up to…

A half day was totally needed before heading to see Daniel Tosh on Friday night. We grabbed a bite to eat at Abby Lane across from the theater before the show and as always it was a good time.

Abbey Lane Boston

After my post on Friday I was seriously craving a lobster roll and lucky for me they had one on the menu. Was it the best roll ever, no, but it was decent just too much dill for my liking. Same with the Pizza Buffalo – it was really good, but again with the dill – they were clearly running a special on dill! One thing that never disappoints are the Kobe Sliders – those are always incredible!

Peplum Top Similar || Cross Body || Jeans || Heels

If you’re ever in Boston and have a chance to see a show – the Wang Theater could not be more beautiful!

Blurry but you get the idea

I’m honestly not the biggest fan of the Tosh.O show, but live he’s really funny! He’s also not as vulgar as I thought he’d be so that made it more enjoyable.

Saturday brought exactly what you want out of a morning – not a cloud in the sky and not too hot!! We went for a much needed run around the reservoir and happened upon a mamma and her baby ducklings! So cute!

We ventured to Cambridge on Saturday night and had dinner at The Sinclair Kitchen – my only request was for a roof deck and that’s exactly what we got! The portions were perfect and the spaghetti with clamswas delicious!

Continuing on the tour of Cambridge we went to Noir Bar in the Charles Hotel and felt like the only people there – partly because we were…

Ending the night at The Beat Hotelwas perfect!! Yes those are mini bottles of rosΓ©! We’ll definitely be back to the Beat especially since the menu looked delicious and they had live jazz on Saturday nights!

Sunday was literally a wash since it rained on and off all day, but it gave me plenty of time to get a lot of blogging and picture taking in!! I was also able to make this incredible Chicken in a creamy Parmesan and sundried tomato sauce for dinner!!

Chicken in a Creamy Parmesan and Sundried Tomato Sauce

Just like that it’s Monday and a fresh start to a new week! Hope you all link up below to share what you got up to this weekend!

You definitely had a fabulous weekend and looked gorgeous the whole time doing it! I think he is hilarious and I'm glad he's not as vulgar in his stand up. I love on his show when he lets people get their second chances at something. No better city than Boston in the Summer that is for sure!
