June Favorites

Happy Wednesday friends and more importantly happy July!! Somehow we blinked and we are more than halfway through the year and into one of the busiest month’s for us all! I wanted to share some favorites from this last month and get ready because there is something for everyone!!

e.l.f. Primer

This was a last minute purchase for me and I couldn’t be happier with my results thus far. I don’t normally use primers, but started to notice my makeup getting into fine lines. After using the primerit doesn’t do that anymore at all! I was a little weary trying an e.l.f. product since I didn’t have good luck with the setting spray, but this primer is awesome! The smell is a little odd, but goes away quickly! For $6 I’ll deal with it!

Adovia Dead Sea Salt Scrub

This scrub could not have come into my life at a better time! I have been using it every single time I self tan, which has been on a weekly basis! It really gets rid of all the dead skin and I also use it as my shaving cream because once I’ve fully massaged the scrub into my legs it becomes even smoother and I’m able to get the closest shave ever! Even Gary mentioned how smooth my legs were! You get a lot of product and it will take a long time to use up, which I love when I’m really enjoying using something!

L’Oreal Makeup Extender

I bought this product after mentioning it in a post back in May. It has 100% lived up to the hype and I could not be happier with how my makeup stays put after applying it to the face. I will say it’s a little “wetter” than the Urban Decay Setting Spray so it takes a little longer to dry (by maybe 30 seconds) but for being half the price I’ll take it! It’s a great product and I can’t see the difference in how long my makeup stays between this and the UD product.

Papermate Pen

Like I said this was a month full of random favorites, but this pen is amazing! I love how easy it is to write with and the best part is that it doesn’t bleed through pages like the fine point sharpies do!! I ordered a box because I’m obsessed!

The Underwriting

I finished one of the books that was on my summer reading list and it was really good! I’ll give a warning to you all though – it’s heavily finance driven and the author uses a lot of industry jargon about SEC Filings and what happens when companies go public which is good if that interests you – not so good if finance bores you! The overall story is really good and the author does an INCREDIBLE job of weaving all the character’s in together! It’s also really cool because you can draw the parallel’s between the dating app in the book and Tinder which is used in real life.

Townhouse Focaccia Tuscan Cheese Crackers

Another random but one we literally could not keep these in the house – these crackers might as well be crack they are so good!! I swear to you that they will not even last a full two days in your house! You don’t even need cheese or any other spread to go with it – they are good on their own!

What products did you love in June?

I love the focacia bread I get at Panera, so those crackers sound so delicious! I'll definitely be trying the ELF primer and the L'Oreal setting spray, always looking to save some $$. I love using a scrub to shave with!

That body scrub sounds incredible! My skin is super sensitive (my legs get reeeally itchy if I use anything other than Jergens lotion!) so I'm always apprehensive to try stuff like that but you really sold it to me up there πŸ™‚

I'm very intrigued by that L'Oreal setting spray. I've been using UD's but will always go for a more affordable option if it provides just as good results. And those crackers look delish! I'm sure they wouldn't last in my house either πŸ˜‰

I purchased the elf primer in the white bottle a few months back and it scarred me for life. Maybe, since it's SO inexpensive, I can look into this one. I'm pretty oily though, would you see this being something that would increase that?
