Hair Extensions for Everyone | Irresistible Me Review

When the folks from Irresistible Mereached out to me about trying their hair extensions – my first reaction was…I’m not quite sure I’m their ideal customer since my hair is already pretty long, but then I remembered something I’d been inspired by. Back in JuneI had all but decided I was going to get extensions for the pure fact of having a different color added into my hair, without actually damaging my natural hair. How perfect was this collaboration for me?

Irresistible Me Hair Extentions

Well, my wish of having highlighted hair has finally come true thanks to Irresistible Me hair extensions. I couldn’t believe how beautiful the hair was when it arrived. I had even gone so far as to share pictures of the look I was hoping to achieve and worked with the team to find the right color and length. I opted for the Royal Light Brown which is one/two shades lighter than my natural hair color.

Irresistible Me Hair Extensions

Since my hair is already pretty long, my goal with these extensions was not length, but rather color, the bonus that I wasn’t expecting was how much thicker my hair was with these wefts in.

Irresistible Me Hair Extensions
Irresistible Me Hair Extentions

After cutting my hair I realized the extensions were a different length so I just went ahead and cut the hair to match my real hair. The set I opted for is 100% human Indian Remy hair – it will last longer and is the closest match to completely unprocessed hair.

With the 140G set you get 8 pieces 1 huge weft with 4 clips, 3 with 3 clips, 2 with 2 clips and 2 with 1 clip. It’s more than enough hair and I often only put about 4 pieces in my  hair at a time. What I really liked is that there is a separate portion that you can take the hair out to compare before committing to the entire package – so if the hair color isn’t what you had hoped for you can return it to get a better match! I also organized the different clip sizes into different zip lock bags so they wouldn’t get tangled.

Irresistible Me Hair Extentions

I didn’t think I’d be able to have colored hair without actually physically having my hair colored – I’m really happy with the extensions and when I need a little something extra I throw them on and I’m out the door! I’m excited to style them with curls and possibly even try some dutch braids because the different colors lend themselves better to braiding!

Irresistible Me Hair Review

Have you ever tried hair extensions for anything other than length?

I was sent the extensions by Irresistible Me in exchange for an honest review – all opinions are 100% my own

Your hair has always been some of the BEST hair around!! And WOWZERS on the extensions…really pretty. I feel you don't even need them cause your hair ROCKS big time but they do add a lil fun pizzazz for an occasional new look, loving the braid!

GENIUS. I got the smallest amount of highlights in my hair ONE time and have never done any other sort of coloring because I'm too chicken. This is such a great idea and looks completely gorgeous on you!

I have incredibly thin hair due to an ongoing issue with my thyroid and it makes styling my hair near impossible, I've looked at hair extensions multiple times but never took the plunge. I might have to give this company a look because they look fabulous on you! I love the idea of the different color for dimension without the damage.
