Friday Favorites Round Up

Happy Friday friends!! We made it through another week and a weekend is upon us! Not too much on the agenda for the next few days, but I’m sure something will pop up! As per usual linking up with Amanda and April to share some favorites from the week!

Favorite Song

While Gary and I cook on the weekends we usually have iTunes radio going and last weekend Powerfulby Major Lazer feat Ellie Goulding came on and I’ve been playing it all week! Such a great beat – I ran a few times this week and was just blasting this!

Favorite Recipe

With our upcoming trip to India it’s time I start trying Indian food at home – I’ve had a few things from restaurants and Gary LOVES Indian food – so I’m hoping to surprise him with this Easy Creamy Crock-Pot Chicken Tikka Masala. Wish me luck – at least it’s made in the crock pot!

Favorite Hair Tutorial

I found this hair tutorial and was so impressed that it came from one single braid!! I think it’s so beautiful! They use it as a “sweater weather braid” but I actually thinks it’s so chic that it can be done for a formal event!

Favorite Read

This week I went through my Fall / Winter Reading Guide and I’ve alreadyplowed through BigLaw! Absolutely loved the book! I worked at a law firm and the story was so true to what happens day to day – more so for associates, but even working in Marketing we felt the fear that she talks about in the book! I found myself thinking of the book and trying to figure out how I was going to get more pages read. They compare it to Devil Wears Prada – with a little more swearing πŸ™‚

Favorite Links

//Time to get cozy – some of my favorite pajama sets over on Shift Your Style

//Giulianna Rancic was interviewed by the ladies over at The Everygirl – I adore her so I loved the interview!

//Balmain and H&Mlaunched their collection this week – what did you think? I think I would go for the accessories over the clothes – but it’s a pretty cool collaboration!

Hope you all have a fabulous weekend! See you back here Monday!
