Fourth of July Rewind

Happy Monday, friends! How was your long holiday weekend? It was so nice to have that extra day to unplug from work. It was nice to be in the city while it felt like everyone was off at the Cape!

Ventured to the Esplanade playground – lots of greenery and plenty of space!

Our Fourth of July tradition is lobster rolls from Luke’s Lobster– third year in a row!

The morning of the Fourth we went to the Arnold Arboretum for some adventure seeking. We went mid-morning and it was surprisingly very empty. Going to have to find another reason to put Sophia in her little dress again and if you’re on the hunt for comfortable toddler sandals these are them!

First ice cream of summer for this girl! And how cute is her little shirt that my cousin bought her?!

Had a little BBQ for ourselves and plenty of leftovers for lunch the next day!

mini beach chair coming in handy

Sunday we headed to the beach early and stayed for nearly 3 hours! There weren’t many people there and that’s probably because of the overcast weather. Of course as we were leaving the sun started to heat things up, but we have a beach vacation coming up, so plenty of time in the water for Sophia!

Ended the weekend with one more ice cream and a really full heart! Even though the circumstances weren’t exactly what we imagined, it was exactly the kind of Fourth of July weekend we wanted.

How was your long weekend?

How cute is that influencer tee?! Haha! Such a cute gift. It sounds and looks like you all had a fun, yet relaxing weekend, which always makes for the perfect weekend in my book! There’s this pub we eat at frequently and they make lobster rolls only during the summer, so we always take advantage and that’s what’s for dinner tonight. Definitely looking forward to it! Happy New Week, girl!

Sometimes it’s the low key weekends that are just the absolute best. I do love her shirt. And give me all the ice cream!

The perfect weekend! Sophia is working all of those outfits – and poses! She is just adorable – I want to give her a big squishy hug! The cutest of all are the sandals – if I coo over anything in a clothes store it is baby sandals! I bet you have so much fun picking her outfits! Drooling over the lobster roll – and the Mexican cola – does it have jalapeno in it or something?! Boston looks like a foodie's paradise, esp for seafood. We've been watching youtube videos of it and it looks amazing – love the buildings, the heritage. You are a lucky lady!
