Happy Monday, friends! Here we are once again, gearing up for the end of the month. October came and now it’ll be Halloween at the end of the week! I feel like October was a big month in Amazon shopping for us. Between their prime day sale & gearing up for some holiday gifts – there’s a lot to get through!
I honestly don’t know why it took me 7 months of working from home to get a full size keyboard, but now that I have it, it’ll be hard to every using just my laptop keyboard! I love that it also has the full number side as well – makes it easy to work in excel. Since I have a MAC it was really important that the keyboard was 100% bluetooth without needing a USB connection. You can also connect via bluetooth to two devices.
Yet another work from home essential I don’t know what took so long to purchase! So much easier to maneuver than your laptop track pad and again it’s bluetooth enabled, so no wires or connections needed.
I’ve mentioned that Sophia is in a real Frozen phase and I made the mistake of getting her Frozen bandaids which as you can imagine were used for anything except boo-boo’s! I decided that stickers might be a better alternative so I ordered this 50 piece set and a fresh sticker book. The only downside is that these are a one time use, so it’s one and done.
These are amazing! I bought them during prime day and you get 5 bands for under $10 – you just can’t beat that! The different resistances are really great for upping the intensity of your workouts.
I am utterly obsessed with this electric kettle. We use this multiple times a day and I’ve actually timed how long it takes to boil – 6 minutes when it’s filled to the max. There’s a little blue light that comes on and then when it’s done it shuts off automatically. Best purchase in a long time.
We were due for some upgraded kitchen utensils and actually threw out all our old ones that either had burn marks or were melted from improper use (that was all me!) This set is great, we don’t use the cylinder that it came with to hold them all, but aside from that all the pieces are great!
I’m the first to admit that I wasn’t sure if I really needed this, but as I start doing more reels and tutorials on instagram, I thought it would be great to have better lighting. This one can stand up to 50″ for full outfit photos and has a bluetooth remote for recording or snapping pictures!
This is one of those kitchen utensils you don’t realize you need until you are looking for something to mince or press garlic! I love that it’s not metal because it wont rust and it comes with a lot of extras for being $5!
Sophia absolutely loves these bilingual books! She has definitely started to say a few more words in Spanish than she did before and it’s all about repetition! There is a Good Night version that we also got!

Have you heard of Spanish Book Box? It’s a curated box (book comes wrapped w your child’s name on it) and it’s in Spanish, and focuses on a protagonist of a different background/nationality. So great for immersing in different language. Then, you can go online and it can be read in Spanish (or English). Such a great idea!
That is the same ring light that I have and it works pretty good. I got a Bluetooth mouse and just love it. I hope you have a super sweet start to your week!
I saw that Costco has an electric kettle on sale this month and I debated getting it. Our Keurig broke and I had been using that to heat up water for my tea.
I’ve been thinking about getting a ring light, too, but I rarely talk to the camera in my stories, so I’m not sure whether I should spend the money on it or not. Maybe that would finally get me talking to the camera more?! Haha.
Yep… gotta get that Electric Kettle!!! … & I loved the ring light demo you did on IG – such a difference. I have one that clips to my phone that does basically the same thing – obviously in a much SMALLER fashion – but perfect for pics. I always forget to use it though – LOL I need to put it somewhere I see it to rememeber

I can’t believe I still haven’t invested in a ring light! Ahhh! Serena is obsessed with stickers and Frozen, so that would be perfect for her!

I didn’t think I needed a ring light until I saw you playing with it… lol. Actually, I know that I’m probably going to need it for work. I’m constantly dragging my computer around the house trying to find a good place to for meetings and it varies a lot depending on the time of day!
