December Through the Camera Roll

Happy New Year, friends! I hope the start of the year has been an easy and restful time for you. It was so nice to have extended time off and it’s going to be really hard to “go back” to work today – even though we’re still remote. I wanted to do a little photo dump of our December – for memory sake!

I started filming a lot more reels on Instagram – they are just a fun easy way for me to stay active on the app and I think it gives you a glimpse into my personality a bit!

Sophia’s imagination is really kicking into high gear and there is so much pretend play happening – it’s seriously so fun! From feeding her babies, to “working” and having tea parties while dressing up like a princess, it’s just the sweetest.

It was also a pretty busy month with partnerships – more in December than I’ve previously had. I partnered with the Prudential Mall to check out their holiday decor and also stopped into a few of my favorite stores. Bartaco was a fun collaboration since it consisted of eating! Then a new to me Pretzel brand with their own frozen breads to make at home!

We took in some holiday lights & celebrated Hanukkah!

It’s been cold, but not unbearable so it’s been nice to enjoy the snow! Sophia’s snow gear is 100% better than mine and it’s all super affordable since she will grow out of it so quickly!

We celebrated Christmas at home and the real star of the day was the trampoline we got her! Talk about getting the energy out! She was totally understanding the concept of Santa and reindeer so next year we will be doing Elf on a Shelf!

Sophia got her first manicure with Piggy Paint and absolutely loved it the girly girl that she is! Sometimes she still looks like a little baby to me and then other times I get glimpses of a little girl who looks to be about 5 and I’m just confused where the time goes!

We had a super low key New Year’s Eve as I’m sure most everyone did – didn’t even stay up until midnight. On New Year’s day we went to my parents house to celebrate with them.

When you look back at the month this way, it’s easy to see why time seems to go by at warped speed! Here’s hoping we’re not in for a super cold winter!
