Happy Friday, friends!! What a week, right?! A short work week, a super emotional day on Wednesday in all the best ways, it all felt monumental – just a good time all around! Here are a few favorites from the week!
I tend to wear my blue light glasses when I’m doing a lot of heavy computer work, which was the case this week. These are from Loft & on sale! My top is also 50% off right now!
Potty training started for the second time and while I’m not going to share any details of the process I did want to share the app I used to track it this week. It’s called Potty Whiz and it’s free to download! I skimmed a few books, but in all honestly, I think the first time around neither one of us was ready, but this week we went all in. I got some new toys for her to play with, she was excited about the praise and there may have been some M&M’s involved too!
We had a pretty low key weekend with the cold weather, but we did create a drive in movie experience with some Chik-Fil-A in the car and watching a movie! It was so fun and Sophia totally loved it! We also had the perfect windy day to fly a kite over at Castle Island on Monday!
This is probably not the best photo, but I made shrimp fajita’s on Tuesday night and they were SO good! Added in some sliced peppers, onions and beans – holy yum! With the soft tortillas and the fajita seasoning this is going to be on repeat. Another repeat for us is the Our Place pan – I use it daily!

Ooooh good luck with the potty training! From our experience, girls are waaaay easier than boys, so hopefully Sophia will pick it up quickly!

Potty training is a lifestyle! And yes, I wanted to start when our son turned two but he wasn’t ready, so I didn’t try. A few months later, he decided he was. It was worth the wait because it was much easier.
