If you have been reading anything recently then you know the panic that is about to ensue with the holidays – will everything you order arrive in time and will everything you want for gifts be available!? I usually start thinking about the holidays after Thanksgiving, but this year I am definitely prepping early. Last year I ordered new holiday stockings for the family and totally messed up getting the largest size ever – no joke a toddler could have fit into our stockings! This year, I will not make the same mistake and I am so excited to actually have a mantle to hang our them on. I thought I would share some holiday stockings for everyone in your family, including pets as well as some inspiration photos for mantle decorating.
These are the classic velvet stockings from Pottery Barn and my personal favorite! They come in medium and large plus you could also get one for your furry friend!
The channel quilted are also classic, but a bit more modern. There are also only two color combinations – white or red.
If you like a little design with your stockings, but nothing over the top, I really like these snowflake stockings that come in three classic colors.
I actually got this faux fur stocking a couple years ago from a brand collaboration that I did and it is so luxe! I could totally see this in a modern home or ski house for the holidays.
Etsy also has a really great selection of stockings. This is a velvet option but it also comes with a little ornament for each stocking which is just the sweetest touch and can be personalized as well.
I really like this cable knit option as well – there is a level of cozy when you see anything cable knit, right?!
If you want a super simple option, then these initial ones from Amazon are a good option.

Yes, we got the medium. The large is way too big and you could fit a small baby in there!
We don’t need new stockings, but you’re making me want some! I’m trying to wait to buy new holiday decor until we move into the house next year.
We got our stockings from Pottery Barn and love them!
I get so jealous of beautiful stockings – we dont have a place to put any or I’d be all over these!
I don’t know what to expect with delays so we are planning on ordering our cards soon too. These stockings are all so pretty! We do multiple and put a few things in each. Sometimes I think the kids might enjoy seeing what’s in their stockings more.

All of these are gorgeous and the cable knit stockings are my favorite! I just switched to cable knit stockings a couple of years ago and they truly make our living room feel so cozy.
