Happy Wednesday, friends! I have a mini countdown to Thanksgiving, Hanukkah and Christmas going and making quite a dent in my shopping list! I have a few more things to get and I am officially done and ready to enjoy the season! With that being said, I am hoping to bring out the holiday decor a week earlier than normal and set everything up this weekend, or at least start to! Why not enjoy the festivities a little longer this year!? Now into the post today – thought I would share some of the things I have been loving lately!
Watching ||
I am super late to the Vampire Diaries party, but I have been bingeing hard! After watching Love Hard on Netflix I decided to give it a watch – so glad I did! Also, if you haven’t watched Red Notice on Netflix, you must – it’s hilarious and there is really no better duo than Ryan Reynolds and The Rock!
Reading ||
The month of September was a huge reading month for me, but after Mason’s arrival I needed a break! Now most of the books I had on reserve are finally available from the library! Currently listening to Little Secrets & reading While We Were Dating – both are completely different genres which I love. And yes, I am reading a book and listening to one simultaneously. I listen while I am rocking Mason, on the elliptical or doing laundry and I read whenever I find a spare moment!
I get my hair cut and colored once a year, so that annual hair cut was a couple weeks ago and it feels so light and healthy!! I get my color done in a few weeks and balayage is just the way to go if you want low maintenance hair with color. The color above is from November of last year – the way it grows out is so natural.
We took Sophia ice skating over the weekend and let me just say, girl loves to be on the ice!! She had the best time and has already asked to go back ASAP! Planning some fun winter activities with her even though it is my least favorite season!
It’s been over 2 months since the last time I went to get my nails done and after discovering really great glue on nails, I don’t think I will be getting nail extensions again! I have a full post planned with all the different ones I have tried, but in the mean time one of my favorite new discoveries is Mani Muse! I ordered a few more sets and even got some for my sister!
With Thanksgiving next week I am only tasked with bringing one app and some wine – that I can handle!! Deciding between these apps.

I always share my Amazon purchases, but I do shop at other places too! A few recent purchases:
- This adorable two piece set from Target for Mason to wear on Thanksgiving
- These wide leg pants that are insanely comfortable from Loft
- J.Crew Factory was having 70% off over the weekend and I snagged these cap toe ballet flats
- We bought this rack for winter gear to keep in the basement and this book case for our living room – both from IKEA
- Ordered or holiday pajamas from Hanna Andersson this week – went with something a little different! They are running a 40% off special right now.

I’ve never seen Vampire Diaries either!! I’ve had it on my list forever, so I guess I just need to watch it. I also have Lovehard and Red Notice on my list, too! I LOVE The Rock. Also, your hair is an actual dream. It is soooo silky and beautiful. You could totally do commercials for Pantene! Haha.
I wish I would have gotten that J Crew Factory deal. My sister asked for some new flats for Christmas. I tried watching Vampire Diaries and I am not sure if it is the first episode, but I didn’t like it. Does it get better? I watched Love Hard and then after your recommendation, I tried it. But I do have Red Notice on my list too. Your hair looks amazing!!!
I love more than anything that Sophia skates in her Elsa dress. I know she’s just making EVERYONE smile.

Look at your little ice skater! So cute! I always have an audio and physical/ebook going at the same time. I listen in the car and while I work and then read at night while I wait for Zoe to fall asleep.
I’ve never watched the Vampire Diaries! Definitely will check out Red Notice. Sophia is adorable in her dress and skates!
