12 Holiday Movies to Stream Now

Well, we made it to the final month of 2021! And now it’s the season for all the cheesy holiday movies and all the good feels that you get while watching them. Are the endings predictable, yes, but I think we could all use a little predictable in our lives right now! Here are 12 movies that I not only watch on repeat every year but are available to stream!

  • Elf (Hulu / HBO Max) – Who doesn’t love Buddy?! I think Sophia is still a little young to really get this movie, but we are going to try again this year. I personally love it and love that it’s so wholesome!
  • 12 Dates of Christmas (Amazon Video) – This is one of my favorite holiday movies and I have watched it every year for at least the last 4 years. Amy Smart plays the lead with Mark Paul Gosselar and every day she wakes up to the same day over again, until she finally realizes what lesson the universe is trying to teach her.
  • The Holiday (Amazon Video / Hulu) – Already watched for this holiday season and it never gets old! My favorite line in the entire movie (or at least one of them) You should be the leading lady of your own life! Also, adore Cameron Diaz’s style in the movie.
  • Love Actually (Netflix / Amazon Video) – Is it even the holidays if you haven’t watched Love Actually! I cant help by sing, Christmas is all around us…on repeat! It’s also one of those movies you can have on in the background and still be doing other stuff.
  • Holidate (Netflix)- This was released last year and it’s your classic girl meets boy, girl and boy decide to be one another’s date through all the major holidays of the year. You can guess where this one goes and it’s a little more risky than other holiday movies, but still worth the watch.
  • Christmas Vacation (Amazon Video) – This is a post Thanksgiving meal watch for us, usually that night. It’s a classic through and through and one of my favorite lines is: Todd why is the carpet wet? I DON’T KNOW MARGOT! Just cracks me up!
  • Four Christmases (Netflix / Amazon Video / HBO Max) – Whenever this movie is on TV, I always stop to watch it because I love Reese and Vince together. I also love Vince Vaughn’s delivery with lines! Managing to see all 4 families in one day – no easy feat and one I don’t think I would be able to do.
  • Family Stone (Amazon Video) – While I don’t really like to cry with holiday movies, this one always gets me! I love Diane Keaton so much and this movie details family intricacies so nicely. I also think Dylan McDermott should be in way more movies!
  • A Christmas Kiss (YouTube) – I probably enjoy this movie because it’s filmed and based in Boston. A spontaneous kiss in an elevator after a chance meeting leaves a designer falling in love (unbeknownst to her) with her boss’s boyfriend. The nutcracker, holiday parties and lots of holiday cheer – this is one of my favorites. I have watched it a few times since it premiered in 2011.
  • Mistletoe & Menorahs (Amazon Video / Lifetime) – I feel like there aren’t that many Hanukkah movies out there so when this one came out a few years ago I couldn’t wait to watch it. In order to land a big account, a toy exec needs to learn all about Hanukkah. She is introduced to a coworkers’ Jewish friend and they agree to teach each other about their respective holidays. As someone who celebrates both holidays, I love this movie!
  • Last Christmas (Amazon Video / VUDU) – Admittedly, I thought this was going to be a bit more RomCom than it actually was, but I really like Emelia Clarke and think she has a pretty stellar voice as well! You really find the meaning of the holidays after watching this.
  • Home Alone (Disney+) – What is a holiday streaming list without Home Alone on it?! We still aren’t sure how the entire family is able to go to Paris during Christmas, but alas it was the early 90s! There are so many iconic moments in this movie and now that I am a mom, I totally feel the panic that the mom felt when she realized she forgot Kevin!

What are your favorite holiday movies?
