Happy Monday, friends! After sharing that I have a number of designer bags on my wishlist for my 35th birthday I got a few requests to share those bags and hopefully that means you will be able to help me whittle them down to just a few favorites! I have always loved purses and it’s my go to purchase for any momentous occasion! These are really all over the place – I dont know which one I will end up getting but I do know that when I see it in person, then I’ll know! For my 30th birthday, I bought myself the Pochette Metis form Louis Vuitton and it is hands down one of my most worn bags over the last 5 years – I adore it! It was so hard to find and I was on the waitlist for months, so when it finally came I was ecstatic!
Trying to figure out if I want a purse that I would wear on special occasions or one that would be more of an every day, all occasion bag. To be honest, we dont have that many special occasions to go out to, so I dont think I would get to wear that type of bag that often.
When I was going through my list, I realized that I have a lot of YSL bags on the list so I will start with those. I also see that I am leaning towards more classic colors and nothing too flashy – so I do think any of these bags will be with me for years to come.

And it wouldn’t be a designer wish list with out a few Chanel bags thrown in for good measure! I have gone back and forth on if I would even consider a Chanel purse as a gift from me to me, especially with the outrageous price increases the brand has had over the last couple of years. I have followed an amazing reseller for years now and on occasion she has not only vintage or hard to find pieces, but also new in the box bags for less than retail. I would love the Chanel shopping experience but not enough to pay a higher price! Here are a few of the ones on my wishlist.
After putting this list together, I do think I have 3 favorites that would be classics for decades to come!

The top 2 YSL bags have been on my wishlist for years. When I can, I will get one of them!
I went timeless with my YSL. Black on black as I was worried the gold would fade in the years to come. The funny thing is that my mom got mea Ferragamo and she paid less than we did for the YSL but the quality is so much better.
These are all lovely bags! I can see why you have so many YSL in the list, I’ve had my eye on a few too! Out of my budget at the moment though, I’ve spent less the past 3 years combined on fashion than I have spent on one bag in the past, haha! I should really save up for another splurge soon though!
