Happy Tuesday, friends! Hope the long weekend treated you well! We stayed close to home – a little bowling, found a new private lakeside beach and ate a lot of ice cream. It was as relaxing as long weekends go! I have some really great books to share with you that I think you’re going to love reading by the pool, at the beach or on some road trips! I’m also currently listening to one and reading another that I know are going to be insanely good!

To Sir, With Love || Lauren Layne is such a great author – all her books are easy, breezy and light. There is always a touch of heat and the slow burn romance. If you liked You’ve Got Mail, you will love this book! It’s modern, fun and a really great play on the meet cute! Gracie has taken over her families business, a champagne shop, but business is not booming and Sebastian is more than happy to take the property off her hands! While she and Sebastian have a love/hate relationship she is in a virtual romance with Sir. They have been chatting for months and the only catch is that this she actually doesn’t know what Sir looks like, they’ve only been communicating via the app and neither seems to have the right timing to meeting in person. I think you can guess where it goes, but what’s wrong with a little predictable romance?

Meant to Be || I already semi reviewed this book a couple weeks ago. This will definitely be one of my favorite reads of the summer if not the entire year! You have the illusion of the Kennedy Family with touches of JFK Jr.’s life sprinkled in. More than that, it’s a love story of two unlikely people meeting, falling in love and everything else that goes along with that. Their complicated stories are woven throughout the book and I promise if you do read it, you will fly through it within days! This is a book that I really hope they make into a movie!

More Than Words || It’s safe to say that I enjoyed this book more than words!! Nina has always done the right thing, lived up to her family’s expectation – a family that is basically royalty in New York City. As she works on a mayoral campaign, she finds herself and also finds out some truths about her father and the business that he is leaving her that leaves her pretty stunned. I listened to this book and it was read by the author, which I thoroughly enjoyed! You can curl up with this while on the beach or while you are stuck in some summer traffic!

I’m finishing up Meant to Be now and I’m loving it! I just love Emily Giffin! I don’t think she’s ever done a book that I didn’t love. I only wish she’d put new ones out more often than she does.
