Holiday Gifts for Little Kids

Happy Monday, friends! Keeping the gift guides going with one for the kids! Since this is the age range my kids are in, this is the easiest one for me to put together. Going to do a combination of things that the kids already have and love with some other fun things thrown in as well. To be honest, Mason would be happy with a fake remote control – truly he is obsessed with tv remotes, but can’t just get him a remote – ha! Sophia on the other hand, girl knows all about gifts and I have no shame in saying that she takes after me and loves presents – it’s my love language for sure!

  • Anywhere Chair || We got this for both kids for their first Christmas and it’s one of the most used items in their playroom! It’s really easy to clean and put together.
  • Melissa & Doug Ice Cream Counter || Sophia has had this for a little over two years and it’s a great gift for imaginative play and solo play! It can also teach kids about money because it comes with a menu that has prices.
  • Writing Tablet || There is not enough praise for this awesome little tablet. You can take it along for travel and it’s great as your little one is learning how to write. Sophia and I practice her letters and numbers at night since she’s really into writing things out now.
  • Marble Run || Perfect for STEM learning, but I will say the setup is a little chaotic! Fair warning the marbles are glass so they can break and you should be really careful if you have little kids around. We only play with this when Mason is napping or can be occupied with something else.
  • Tonies Starter Set || You’ve probably seen these all over Instagram and I have been pretty intrigued with it myself. I think it’s great that kids can use it themselves and the possibilities of adding characters are endless.
  • Art Easel || One of the best presents we bought for Sophia when she turned two! I love all the accessories it comes with and there really are endless things to do with the easel. She uses it just as much at 4 as she did at 2!
  • Balance Bike || This is actually what Mason is getting as his “big” gift this year and I can’t wait to see him riding around on it!
  • Kids Camera || I think the perfect age for this is 4-5 since they are really started to understand photos and where people are standing / how to look at things in the view finder. Another one we already have and Sophia really enjoys taking our pictures with the different filters.
  • Toy Coffee Station || If we didn’t already have a little kitchen, I would be getting this coffee station! I think it’s aesthetically pleasing to have in your playroom / living room, but also adorable to play pretend with.
  • Up & Down Rollercoaster || If you’re wanting to do a joint big gift for kids, this little rollercoaster can be used inside or outside. It holds up to 75 pounds, so depending on how big your kids are – two can comfortably play until 5 or 6 years old. Especially good for those long winter months coming.
  • Blues Clues Wooden House || Mason is utterly obsessed with this Melissa & Doug toy. It has a section for learning shapes and putting them in the correct holes, flip puzzles and an easy carrying handle. Mason is 13 months and loves to clap for himself when he figures out the right place for the wooden shapes to go into!

These are great. My girls still play with their art easel and we wanted that slide/rollercoaster, but no room.

We got Zoe a Tonies for Christmas. She saw one at Best Buy and was so excited about it. The art easel has been a big winner over here as well! We got Zoe’s for her when she turned 3 and she definitely uses it nearly every day still. I need to get a new one of those tablets. Zoe’s is a few years old and she lost the pen to it. She scribbles on it with her finger nail still haha. I liked how entertained it kept her on longer car rides without having to listen to the ipad!

That marble run set is one of the best things we’ve bought for the kids. They still play with it years later!
