Weekending + A Giveaway

Happy Monday & Happy March! I was so excited to greet this weekend because this is selfishly my favorite month...birthday's, anniversaries and hopefully warmer weather!
On Friday we had a full on binge marathon of House of Cards. I'm pretty sure the rest of the country did as well and Frank Underwood did not disappoint!! What is disappointing is having to wait another year for the next season! Thought it was worth mentioning that we watched the season over the course of three days...not one night!
A few months ago I found a Gilt City deal for a wine tasting with City Wine Tours. I chose the Back Bay tour (they offer four different neighborhoods) and for a little over two hours on Saturday we made our way to three different restaurants in the Back Bay.
I've been on a few wine tours/tastings and Gary & I both enjoyed this one the most...probably because each restaurant offered a little sample of their cuisine that would pair nicely with the wine that we were tasting!
Julia Child signed this ginormous bottle of wine for the owner of Legal Seafood.
We got a behind the scenes tour of the kitchen at one of the top restaurants in Boston and the best part, I didn't feel like we were trying to be sold any wine! Just an enjoyable afternoon!
After the tour we had a little game night at our friends house and snuck some time in with my favorite frenchie! Finally played Cards Against Humanity and for the first time in over 15 years played Scattegories, which is much harder than I remember!
I took a break from House of Cards for a little retail therapy, err spending of some gift cards that were burning a hole in my wallet!! I went with my go-to Snob (don't you just love the names they come up with) from MAC and also picked up a new blush from Bobbi Brown (Pretty Pink) that I'm excited to try out! I picked up a few macaron's and indulged in a stack of magazines to end the weekend!

And to start this Monday in a fun way...

I've partnered with some wonderful blogging ladies and wishing you luck to win this gorgeous Rebecca Minkoff purse!

  11. I LOVE wine tours--it's such a fun way to find new wineries and wines that you love--and when you go with a good group it always makes it that much more fun!
We started House of Cards but only made it through 4 episodes I think because we are trying to space them out some. Still that likely means we'll be done by next weekend haha.
Love a good group hang out at home--and any night that involves Cards Against Humanity is always sure to be a hysterical one!
Hope you're off to a good start to the week!!
