Another good reading month over here! I am still loving Kindle Unlimited and discovering new authors all the time. I am trying to alternate between one light read and one that’s more thriller / suspense based, but somehow I keep gravitating towards light and fun! Here are a few books that you should definitely add to your TBR (to be read) lists!

White Lies ||  I had a really hard time figuring out who was telling the truth in this story. Was it Alex, the doctor who up until recently had a spotless record, a loving husband and kids. Or is it Jonathan, the high school senior who seems to have fallen in love with his doctor? It’s the ultimate he said / she said and honestly when I finished the book I still didn’t know what to think, but loved the unseen twist. It was a page turner and one that took hold of you from the first chapter. I read fast because I needed to know who was lying!

Huge Deal  (Kindle Unlimited) || I love Lauren Layne’s writing. It’s smart, witty and easy to read. This is the 3rd book in the 21 Wall Street Series and each love story has their own intricacies, but I think I enjoyed Kennedy & Kate’s the most! He’s her boss who has said from day one the assistant is off limits; She’s the assistant that has locked her feelings for Kennedy away! Of course it’s predictable, but these are the books that are meant to be light and freeing to read. All three books in the series are “Kindle Unlimited” so if you’re a member, you can read them all for free!

The Honeymooner(Kindle Unlimited) || Libby is doing her best to be completely different from her unpredictable mother who left her to be raised by her grandparents when she was little. She’s planned out her life with her fiance and on the day of their wedding, he decides, predictable isn’t what he’s after. She decided to go on their honeymoon, alone, and make good use out of her time there because it’s also a work trip. She meets Harrison who is the owner of the resort her company is trying to buy. A lighthearted romance that will have you smiling once you’ve finished it!

Dating Games  (Kindle Unlimited) || Take every single romantic movie you’ve ever seen (Pretty Woman, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, 50 Shades of Grey) and you have yourself, Dating Games. What I really appreciated was that the author knew she was pulling in story lines from all these books, sometimes right down to what the characters in the movie would say and would actually call the movie out in the book – so she knew she was “borrowing” but I like those movies and books, so I didn’t mind that they were all rolled up into one book! I enjoyed reading how the relationship between Julian and Evie progressed. I would have loved an epilogue, but it was still a fun, lighthearted read even without it.

The Other Side of Someday (Kindle Unlimited) || This is my favorite read from the last month! I loved how the story between Baylee and Sebby unfolded. The cast of characters was really likeable and felt like a real group of friends. The underlying story of Baylee connecting with her mother through her journal was really thoughtful and nice to read – of course I may have shed a tear reading through some of the journal entries. When you read something that’s just a feel good book, it makes you smile and this book did just that!

I’m currently reading this book and really can’t wait to dive into this one

What have you been reading and loving?

I'm jumping into more light reads since I was on a non-fiction kick for awhile. I think you recommend a Sophie Kinsella one from last month that I can't wait to dive into! Definitely putting The Honeymooner on my list!
