Sleep - it's something that is so coveted as a parent. Books, online courses and just about everyone has an opinion on what you should be doing! I know it's basically the number one question we get asked from everyone - "how is Sophia sleeping?" Well that's a story for another blog post 😂 Today I wanted to share how we sleep stalk her when she is sleeping with the VTech RM5762 Wi-Fi Remote Access Video Baby Monitor.
We recently made the switch from our previous baby monitor that was always cutting out and having to be charged to the VTech remote access baby monitor and keeping an eye on Sophia while we in the living room or at work has never been better! The set up took a total of 5 minutes. Connecting, pairing and setting the baby monitor up was so easy all while using our wifi network!
During the week my mom watches Sophia and with our previous baby monitor, she would have to use her phone as a monitor, but with the VTech baby monitor having a physical monitor, she can be free to finally use her phone during nap time! One of my favorite features is that I can check in on Sophia when I'm not home, it gives me a chance to do a little sleep stalking while I'm at work through the VTech Baby app in real time.
Some of my favorite features are the white noise sound options and the horizontal pan and vertical movement. The camera is modern and not distracting, so Sophia doesn't even notice it. Also, the picture quality is like watching a movie in high definition. As you can imagine, this is one of our most used baby products because it's used multiple times a day! Even though we live in a condo, having the peace of mind that everything is okay in Sophia's room while she's sleeping and we're watching a movie makes those at home date nights that much more enjoyable!
When I was researching my baby registry, I had a really hard time figuring out which one to get because of all the options. Now when friends and co-workers ask for a recommendation for their registry from buybuy BABY - it's always the VTech remote access baby monitors - especially the ones that are WiFi enabled!

What's your favorite way to sleep stalk your child? Do you have a VTech baby monitor?

  1. Sounds like a great monitor! And so awesome that your mom doesn't have to use her phone as the monitor anymore. I'm sure it killed the phone battery, too! Glad you are happy with the new choice! Happy Monday, Biana!

  2. This sounds like a great monitor! We went through 3 at this point, it's so hard to find one that has great image quality and has extra features. That white noise feature sounds amazing! Would you believe it took up until Aviah was about 9 months or so for me to get a white noise machine? Ridiculous, I know, because her sleep was being effected by every neighbor obsessed with their lawns, lol. I, too, get constantly asked about Ariah's sleep. We were a bit spoiled with Aviah, this time around with Ariah, it's been entirely different and not in the most relaxing way, lol. Thanks for sharing, my friend; I'll have to keep this one in mind. Have a great start to your week!

  3. It's great that you can use this outside the home too! I wish we had something like that - our baby monitor is a few years old now as we got it as a gift when I was pregnant with our first boy and I don't think there were any internet enabled ones, haha!

Hope that you had a great weekend. We had a picnic today, taking advantage of the public holiday and great weather :) I just posted my weekday wear linkup, I'd love you to join! :) I've got a scarf giveaway on my blog right now too!

  10. I would have loved this when the kids were babies. We had the sound monitors, but the video monitors had just come out and the reception and range were pretty bad. They've really come a long way.
