November Through the Camera Roll

Happy Friday, friends! How was the post Thanksgiving week for you?! I have saved up my vacation days, probably like most of you, but if I don’t use most of them – I lose them, so this month I’m going to have a few days every week where I have a day off and I am pretty pumped for that! November was a pretty relaxed month with the start holiday shopping & enjoying those random warm weather days! I’ll let the photos do the “talking!”

My clothes have not had any sort of “pop” to them, but I’m sort of feeling the darker tones right now! My new winter coat is amazing & these corduroys from Target are so comfortable! I also love this cha-cha sweatshirt!

I’ve been starting my mornings with either a collagen or green juice mixed with just water! It doesn’t have any added sugar and tastes just like kool-aid! You can also add it to your smoothies, but it tastes really good just mixed with water!

Sophia spent a lot of time outside and having playdates with some friends! She seems to have a new adventure daily and I love getting to see her learn new things every day!

We have been using Tubby Todd products for the last few months on Sophia’s skin to get ahead of the winter eczema that comes. I love their all over ointment and body wash, so I got a bigger set to use. They have all natural ingredients and are great for kid’s sensitive skin!

Of course the highlight of our month was Thanksgiving. We decided to celebrate at home with just the three of us. I opted to make my life easier and not do a full turkey, instead I found a perfect large pre-seasoned turkey breast at Target and then made all the sides and apps. We had apps for lunch and then dinner was the meal – which was perfect. It worked out nicely since Sophia’s nap wasn’t interrupted and the weather was pretty dreary!

Sent out our cards the day after Thanksgiving – tradition lives on!

I capped off the month with a much needed color. It had been a year since my last balayage and it felt nice to just do nothing for 2 hours!! In fact I caught up on my book & started watching the second season of Virgin River!

How was November for you?

I love that you didnt do the full turkey. What’s the point – you still had turkey – no need for all the extra work.
Love you did a dress up pic & right back into comfy clothes. There’s some benefits on being home on the holiday.
