Happy Friday, friends. I hope wherever you are, you are safe and warm. Today is a very special day because it happens to be Gary’s 40th birthday!! While I wish we were celebrating this milestone birthday in a very lavish way with friends and family like he deserves, I’m still doing my best to make it special! Before I get to a few favorites from the week, I wanted to get a little mushy about my hubby!
Hard to believe the first birthday we celebrated together was his 30th! We took a 5 day cruise to the Caribbean and I’m 100% sure he ages like a fine wine or backwards!
He is hands down the smartest person that I know. You know how a toddler will ask, why is the sky blue? Well Gary is the person that actually knows the answer to that question! He’s always sharing something interesting that he learned or coming out with a random fact about something science or computer related! I’m in awe of how much he knows!
Before we had Sophia, I already knew that Gary was going to be an incredible father. He is so hands on, will do anything for a smile or giggle and is the most creative and fun dad I could have ever hoped for. As she grows up, Gary gets more and more in depth with the adventures he comes up with! He has the patience of a saint, a heart of gold and the face of a Greek God (wink wink!) He’s got friends in every corner of the world and it’s a testament to the man that he is. Sophia and I will be showering him with love all weekend long!
Now on to some favorites from the week…
I caught the first episode of Riviera on Amazon, but of course the only way to stream it is via Sundance Now. They offer a free 7 day trial, so that gave me a timeline to finishing the 3 season series! It’s such a good show if you’re looking for something new to watch!
I was asked to participate in an Acts of Kindness giveaway with one of my favorite female owned brands and there’s still time to enter here!
Truth be told I have not been buying much of anything these days. Maybe it’s that we’re really not going anywhere or maybe it’s that for once I really don’t feel like I need anything, but I did buy a couple new Summer Friday’s products that I can’t wait to try. I’m a huge fan of ALL their products!

I loved your sweet tribute to your hubby! You both look amazing and that photo of him holding a tiny Sophia is SOO cute. I also have not been very motivated to buy anything. I tried on a bunch of things at work last week and there were a few things that I loved, but I just did not feel like buying anything. Crazy right?! Haha.
